It's weird how often I come into a thread and it just turns to ****, ironically not because of anything I do but because everyone sees me and just starts ****posting. I almost feel bad about it.

the one import wellington should have kept.
I don't think so but that doesn't take away from him being a good batsman and the best in the Bang side...which can't be that hard. I've always been impressed by his ability against Eng, he loves to eat them up

I remember around 2010-11 when the BD coach Jamie Siddons had said the same thing - that Tamim and Shakib make it to every test side including Australia (this was when Warner wasn't quite the batsman that he is now and Australia were struggling with their opening slot) and yet the consensus was still - he won't even get into the Shield side.

Shakib maybe gets in as a spinner alone in the Australia side but Tamim? lol na

Tamim makes any test team that presently hasn't a settled pair of opening batsmen, on account of being a more than serviceable test opener.
