How Are You Doing On CM?

Playing FM2006.

I am Spurs and in my fourth season. In my third season I spent over £60mill and won everything that I possibly could. (Charity Shield, Premiership, League Cup, FA Cup, Champions League)... Well proud as in my first season I didnt spend a penny.

I play a diamond formation. I find that the DMF is the most important player on the pitch. Currently I am using Freddy Guarin. Get him.. he's fairly cheap.

i play a 4 1 2 1 2 formation so diamond and i think dm and amc are the 2 most important........but it works well with pushing the wingers up the sides...........

right just a few things, anyone help me ? just in pre season with valencia and everyone i ask for a friendly refuses the offer even if i promise them about £250ks worth of incentive, any ideas to solve this ?

Maybe it's who you asked for friendlies?

Check to see if they play any at about the same time. Being Valencia should mean that just about any team will accept.

no its just stange, any team from any division began to reject my friendly offers, all i coudl get were games against valencia b unfortunately.

no actually, where can i get it from ? bear in mind this only happened in one game, in any other game i have got to the same stage and never had that problem.

I'm playing as Everton in the 03/04 game and it's 2018. We've won the League the last two years and the League Cup and Champions League last year...I've had 5 English teams and 6 Overseas teams - I'm a tart!

a touch of nostalgia pressed me into reinstalling CM97/98. I started a game as Rochdale but unfortunately i got sacked in my second season after all my best players got nicked through big club release clauses. Fortunately i got offered the Scarborough job where i signed Van Vossen to partner Brian Mcliar upfront. Started pretty well, one place outside the play offs. In the last match i had one guy sent off for 2 bookables after 6 minutes, both for kicking the ball away, then i went one down, another guy got sent off for deliberate hand ball and i went two down by half time. Remarkably i managed to score twice and almost sneaked a victory

neil said to me he was going to reinstall that and just leave it on holiday with his 2.8ghz processor behind it...wonder what the outcomes of that were.....

i started a game with spurs the other day, 23 games gone and im in second spot, one place behind man utd, glen johnson has been signed on loan and will probably be made permanent, lebohang mokoena and kris boyd are the only other signings with olivier kapo joining at the end of the season, next match is the carling cup semi final second leg against arsenal in which the result at highbury was 2-2 hopefully can go on to win it...looking bright.

Got FMP on the PSP, awesome, really quick.

Into my second season with Gretna, won the Scottish 2nd Division and League Cup, lost in the final of the Scottish Cup

Gretna games are annoying in that you can get to the SPL and win it, but still not attract players or get a decent rep to get any other job!

yeah, my finances are really good but i only have 40K as my tranfer budget, just chose them as a good introduction to get used to the new game

I've managed to start off a new period of Liverpool dominance....3 straight league titles, 4 straight champions league titles, three fa cups, two league cups, three super cups,two world club championships.....

This was when i joined them in 2011...before then Arsenal had been winning literally everything =/
