haha cm 01/02 is a awesome game, after FM the best game imo im playing with Excelsior dutch 1st division trying to get promoted had some bad luck in the 1st two season..but now in 3rd season and startiting to go up im in a play-off spot now..hopefully i will move up further in the table...but doesnt really look at it as i drawed 3 of my last 5 games!

i agree its the best of the Cm series, i am notts forest in the premiership, last season finised second in the prem in my 4th season in charge, now my assulat on the champions league begins, up with the forest, the team is....

thanks amigo, narrowly lost out on winning the prem at the end of last season, chelsea pipped me to it, arsenal and man utd have lost all their decent players and have slipped to around 8th and 9th

just went through in first champs league group stage....now drawn with juventus, real madrid, bayern munich and lyon lol..... a tough draw.

Yeah CM 01/02 is class. I have CM4 and 03/04 but I much prefer 01/02. Actually Simon and I are playing a network game atm, if anyone's interested. But I suspect the time differences would make it too hard.

im playing with Farnborough, in div 1, season 44/45, we need to win on the final day to make the play off, but no, we have 2 players sent off and draw 1-1 with 19th placed Carlisle and miss out by 1 point...

I was Spurs, won the League (IIRC) or at least got into CL, and then all of a sudden, very nearly got relegated in the League, despite winning the FA Cup and going very close in the CL, so it clearly tried to get me relegated in the League IMO () because it wasn't used to someone beating it...

No, I just look at it objectively.

Human nature makes you think it's cheating (the likes of <S> etc) but at the end of the day it isn't/

the bad luck just happens too often for my liking, the ammount of players i get sent off in big matches really gets to me, not to mention my streak with anderlecht of being 0/7 in CL finals, im obviously good enough to get there, the game just didnt want me to win!

If you seriously believe that then you might as well not play the game.

It is human nature to only notice things when they disadvantage you.

Most of the time a change of tactics is what is needed.

If you play hard tackling, you get players sent off live with it.

I generally shout, swear, hit things and accuse the computer of cheating whenever I concede. See the playoffs stories earlier in the thread.

Still, it's now May 2015, and the Grecian army has just finished sixth in the Premiership. This summer, we're packing our bags for the InterToto cup, after my £35,000 striker (signed from Championship WBA Reserves whilst farmed out on loan to Conference Rochdale) scored 23 goals in as many starts, and won Players Player of the Year and Footballer of the Year. Think he's on for the European Golden Boot, too...

Is FM 2005 worth getting? I've played the demo and I can't say I was too impressed.

Thoughts? Given I wasn't too fond of CM 4, CM 03/04 was alright but I lost interest in that a bit quickly and went back to CM 01/02. But I had 3 good seasons with Utrecht...
