How Are You Doing On CM?

Yeah, I suspected it might be. I seem to have difficulty scoring goals from anything other than crosses too. I think that might be a known glitch also, but cbf to check.

Always get the board to remove that one (in '15), can have the second highest figure in the league and they still whinge, 100+ league goals is not enough, they want 80% possession and a 1-0 win....

I've never had an issue with possession at Arsenal. Get 55-60% and they've always been satisfied.

The crossing thing is real though. Think it's partly because my fullbacks are immense and attack minded, but they're the main source of goals for me. Midfield is basically there to give them the ball.

On a note which is no doubt similar, I've been incredibly disappointed in Özil on my save. Have actually dropped in at the start of my 2nd season.

Decided to be bold and change our formation from the 4-4-1-1 (not much protection in the middle) to a 3-5-2 custom. Sold our amazing fullbacks (I STILL MISS YOU BELLERIN) but it seems to be paying off - 30 rounds in and we're leading by a point, quarters of CL about to kickoff (against Bayern...), and still in the FA Cup. Sadly we lost the League Cup Final.

I'm still running a 4-1-2-3 at ManU. Shaw, Balanta, Ramos and Clyne across the back at full-strength (Rafael wanted to leave when Real/Barca came calling). Memphis, Lewandowski and Januzaj/Mata up front. Midfield is strong without being exceptional, running Schneiderlin as a BBM and di Maria as a playmaker, with Bender winning the ball at DM.

Valdes, Rojo, Rudiger, Blind, Bradley, Tielemans, Herrera, Wilson, RvP, Luis (why the **** did I sign him?), Evans and Fellaini rolling around too. Invested in a few prospects in the U21s as well, so hopefully they pay off.

I tried to start a game with Milan the other day, and it's a total nightmare. They have about 2 fullbacks who are of a first team standard, and 1 wide attacker who is worth a damn. Transfer budget of about £6m and no room in the wage budget to bring anyone in. Not sure I cbf.

Funnily enough I've just taken on the Milan job (its now Dec '26), no money, bunch of mid 30s in the prime positions, about 8th in the league.... Going to be an interesting challenge. One thing they do have is a regen winger who I brought through at utd before Pep dumped him off just as he was about to break through.

Milans problem has been their own managerial selections. Kept on hiring Gullit every time a manager moved on to better things. They've won two titles, then rehired Gullit and dropped to mid table each time. The games ability to give him top jobs (he's also managed City) is amazing...

So the FA Cup didn't go as planned, but we won the league, and beat Barrrrrthalooona in the Champions League final! We've now been bought out by an overseas investor, so I will need to be more sensible with my moneh. Aiming for Pogba.

Yeah I have never been able to do much more of a season with Brentford. It is probably partly because I always disagree with how good a player is, or what there best position and it just annoys me when it comes to a team I know so well.

Same. Possibly less of a problem for fans of bigger clubs where they are taking a wider range of views to rate the players?

I also find myself feeling disloyal if I let players I love go. Which is ridiculous but hey, that's how I roll

Yeah I do occasionally get annoyed when I disagree with a player rating/role. I completely get the feeling disloyal thing, but at the same time any success you have with a player is kind of better for the same reason. I try not to sell my favourite players anyway.

I remember once signing Ian Goodison for Chelsea and the board were disappointed with if and I'm like what the **** would you know

Milan were going to be one of the challenges I was setting myself if I ever got the game. Was also going to restrict myself to signing mainly Italians which would be fun.

Went back to my Valencia game after several new projects failed massively. 3rd place finish at the end of the third season. Looked for a while that I might actually challenge for top spot, but fell away pretty drastically over the last ten games or so. Just didn't have enough quality and depth throughout the squad to maintain the positive start.

Have a few very promising looking signings lined up for the summer though, so am optimistic about perhaps making a more sustained push for the title next year.

22 games down, 6 points clear of Chelsea. Just *had* to draw them in the fifth round of the FA though. PSG in the first knockout round of the CL too, so Europe is gonna be one hell of a challenge.

At the point where I have to choose between RvP and Wilson as my second striker though; both unhappy with playing time since Lewandowski is a guaranteed start and I rarely play more than the one up front.
