I really can't do this one, finding ridiculously hard.
I've found this one a challenge so far, but not one of the pull hair out with annoyance type ones so far. Have only played with Valencia, and managed to finish in 4th place in my first season, which seemed about right given the quality of the other sides in the division. Started the second season well, despite being thrashed by Real Madrid in the first game. Have just lost 1-0 to Girona whilst typing this post as well.

Got this for mobile, which I think is a stripped-down version of the PC game. Regardless, any tips? :)

Finally getting the hang of it! Got rid of Allen and Milner, brought in El Shaarwary, Hojbjerg, and Vela, demonstrating my lack of International Football knowledge. Settled on a 4-4-1-1, and while we're still conceding a few, we're scoring far more frequently.

Round Ten meant a top-of-the-table clash against Man City. In the 10th minute, Hart took a free-kick near the left corner position... which landed near Coutinho behind the halfway line. He shot from there, and it made it over the line just before Hart could get back! Haha. City dominated the rest of the game, with 56% possession, 11 shots to 5, 7 on target to 4... but pearlers from Henderson and Sturridge meant we won 3-0! I highly doubt I'll have a more enjoyable and undeserved win. :)

Started playing again, probably a bad idea but am Villa and is actually going ok. Waiting to be sacked after a takeover though.

7 points clear after 31 games (though Chelsea and Man City have 2 games in hand, and 2-6 are separated by 2 points). Unfortunately, literally everyone in my squad is injured and I've dropped games to Everton and bloody Arsenal.

The run home isn't especially difficult, but I reckon we'll find a way to screw this up. Should make the Champions League Quarters (3-0 up after the away game), and have Stoke, who are rotting at 10th in the Championship, in the FA Semi-Final.

Barcelona are ****, running ~10th in the Spanish League, and Messi is pissed off and wants to leave. Hopefully I'll have the budget come summer, after winning the Prem, FA and CL (one can hope), to grab him on the cheap.

Quite impressed with myself, I've managed to Out-Wenger Wenger. A huge winning streak one taking over (only lost one of my 1st 23 matches, against Palace in the league cup) saw me in 2nd. Managed to conspire to lose a few soft games around the game 32 mark, then against Preston at home on game 36, a draw at Stoke next up meant I needed results to go my way just to grab 4th..... I didn't...

Then lost the FA cup final a week later with a mediocre performance against City. Also knocked out of CL with 2 poor games (and 2 superkeeper performances) against PSG...

Bravely the board have just given me a £194m transfer budget for next year - who says Arsenal don't have a warchest!

Alas I've also applied for the Barca job, because I can, so I might not be about to spend it (probably not get the job then get sacked anyway!)

Haha, update on this 2 years later.

Managed to put on a title charge in the 2023/24 season, given no-one's got near to Utd in the last 8 years or so, to take them to the final day of the season was impressive. Did win the Europa League as a token gesture. Scored about 120 goals again (for some reason my tactics favour the 'were going to win 5-4 approach), Lukaku hitting 34 for the season.

2024/25 I stayed with Arsenal, but also retook the England job after Solskjaer retired at 51! Again pushed Pep's Utd to the final day of the season after a poor start, finished on 90 points, only 2 losses, and went on a 32 game unbeaten streak in the league from the poor start I had. Went into the CL final missing some of my key players - a Brazilian RB who's probably the best in the world, my midfield playmaker who was 3rd in the Ballon D'Or, a striker who's going to smash all Arsenal records (hit his 100th league goal at 24, Lukaku has managed to extend the club record to 188 - all after signing at 24 n all - so I've great hope for this lad), also missing The Ox who's been a star at inside-right despite being in his 30's (I've retrained him as a midfielder with a view to the future). Lost 2-0 to City after a poor showing by my injury ravaged team.

Next day the board ****ing sack me for underperforming. ****ing Arsenal are never happy.

Going to stick with just the England job as its a WC year, if I can win that (I lost the 2018 final in ET) I might resign to go manage abroad, the squad I built at Utd has about 4-5 years before it starts to wane, and the Arsenal one is going to start to come into fruitation in a couple of years, so the Prem is going to be too tough to win without building a third world class squad over a period of 2-3 years - I might as well go glory hunting overseas.

I'm worried my record in major finals is a bit poor, I can get to the final itself but I'm very hit and miss - so far for finals it reads

2016 - FA Cup - Won
2018 - FA Cup - Won
2018 - World Cup - Lost (ET 6-3, ****ing Wiltshire getting sent off on 95 mins)
2019 - Champions League - Won
2019 - Nations Cup - Lost
2020 - Champions League - Lost (on pens, to City. Januzaj missing the only one)
2020 - European Championships - Lost (3-2 AET - Junuzaj scoring in the 120th min. Wasn't a fan of him that summer)
2022 - FA Cup - Lost
2023 - FA Cup - Lost
2024 - Europa League - Won
2025 - Champions League - Lost

W4, L7 - of those 4, 2 were early FA Cups and one a Europa League.... I've lost 2 CL, A Euro Championship and a World Cup.... Bit of a bottler...

Crashed out of the CL in the quarters to Juventus. Ended up 2nd in the Prem to Man ****ing City by two points. Got destroyed in the FA Cup Final vs Chelsea.

Disappointing. I didn't get fired though.

After a clutch 5-4 win against Chelsea, I won the title at my first attempt. :) We also made the Europa Final, and I won the FA Cup.

Almost ten rounds into 2016/17, and we're languishing in 10th, with Chelsea undefeated. :/

We're now 8 points behind Chelsea, with ten rounds to play. CAN IT BE DONE?

Looks like Porto will knock us out in the CL quarter-finals, we won the League Cup, in the semi of the FA Cup against Swansea.

Valencia plodding along in second place at the moment. Team has lost a lot of fluidity after Andre Gomes and Geronimo Rulli forced moves away during the January transfer window. Mustafi and Kagawa both out for the rest of the season as well has caused me to suspect that things will get pretty hairy before too long. Negredo, Vela, Depay and Calleri all performing to a very lukewarm level. Pretty much entirely reliant on Rodrigo De Paul and Parejo for all the goals atm.

Just knocked Bayern out of the CL at the last 16 stage which I'm chuffed about. 14 points clear of Spurs in the league, who have two games in hand, with eight games to play, and out of the FA Cup so I should be able to focus on Europe over April and May.
