Donald was easily better than akram. As usual akram gets overrated for looking pretty
Donald played from 1992-2002

Akram 1990-2002 (2 years more than Donald, 10 years overlap)

320 wickets @ 22.28 with 20 fifers and 4 tenfers in just 132 innings

surely comparable.

Akram never gave the impression he could take the game away from the opposition like Donald did.
true, but Akram could produce magic outta nowhere in a sense that's just difficult to explain, turn games on it's head, it was a Lara-esque ability. I also think he did a lot better vs Australia and was respectable in England when English batting was good (first half of 90s) while Donald failed his difficult serieses against England.

The more I look into it, Holding has almost no flaws except for his record against and in NewZealand.

Australia. England. WestIndies. India.
Great tours everywhere.
Great overall record.

West Indies and New Zealand is funny, almost all their ATGs struggle there or have poor numbers due to context.

Sobers
Lara
Richards
Holding
Roberts
Marshall
Gibbs
Lloyd

Greats from Windies who dominated in Kiwi Land would be Weekes, Worrell and Garner.

You misunderstand.

Sometimes, a players gets easy away wickets, for example technically Greg Chappell averages something like 70+ in Pakistan but nobody takes it seriously, simply because the wickets he had in Pakistan were so uber flat. Not all aaay conditions are tough by default, for example, I'd not rate runs on 2021-22 Pakistan wickets as highly as I'd rate runs on modern South African wickets, even if the latter are the player's home wickets. To me, if the away challenge is tough then sure that deserves praise, if the wickets and opposition of a home series and away series are equally difficult then sure the away series wins out because it shows your ability to adapt to different surfaces. But that's about it, I don't think away averages should be plainly read, series by series examination is always superior.
That's fine and we do that too we don't make blanket statements but generally away performances overall is a key indicator of a player

I disagree, if it was then Ken Barrington would be the greatest player of them all, but in actuality he was seen widely as inferior to Denis Compton. Check their away records.

The ridiculously high number of MOM awards from Wasim is one reason I also date him so damn highly.

There are exceptions like for example I give credit to Kallis for performing in difficult conditions at home
