Harry Brook

Son Of Coco

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
the top 10 though (which brook is ikely to join) is:

sutcliffe
weekes
bradman
harvey
kambli
hutton
worrell
rowe
headley
sid barnes?

not too shabby
It'll be pretty hard for him to join this list after getting 10 ducks in The Ashes. Root will be down the other end playing it with his dick.

Forget Steve Smith, Brook's got his sights on The Don.

Most test runs after x innings list:

Brook has a permanent entry at 9 test innings, he'll also get the record for 10 if he scores another 73 runs between this innings and his next. Another ton in the first Ashes test would put him in league for fastest to 1000 before Bradman inevitbly takes over.

The drop after Bradman retires is descriptive - most runs after 80 innings is 6996, most runs after 81 innings is 4455.

Ridiculous start and it is scary to think he has gifted his wicket away a few times already and should have a higher average. Clearly it won't last and we will have a better idea as to his overall ability in 12 months time after we have played an ashes series and gone away to India.

Just enjoy the ride though, reminds me of Inzamam in 92 World Cup the way he is striking the ball and playing basically a brand new style to everyone else, difference is Brook can run between the wickets.

Ali TT

International Regular
Weak against short ball

He’s going to be bombed in the Ashes
Common feature for batters coming out of the county game as he'll not have faced many fast bowlers on bouncy decks. But like all new international players, it's not the weaknesses you come with but how you address them once exposed that's important.

Brook is very good, but I wouldn't be surprised if he returns to earth a bit over the next 12 months. He will face teams who will make the drastic decision to select more than one proven test standard bowler.
Someone should get a memo to Neil Wagner to try this.
Wagner should have retired after the WTC final. Shadow of his former self.

He averages 100. Would be pretty mad if he didn't return to earth a bit.
