Brook's weakness with spin is there but is overstated, he can output as long as the pitch isn't a landmine.

Although it is T20 cricket, but the way he has played spin in the current, and it is apparent that he doesn't read it at all from the hand, is a big issue

he is definitely very limited against it, he seems to want to play backfoot against spin in test so he plays as late as possible and milk spin for singles, which is a viable strategy in test cricket but would obviously not work in Limited overs

The ashes is Brooks main test. He needs to average like 45+ with 3+ hundreds in Aus. It will be tough though against an ATG like Cummins but Brook has the game to do well.

I feel he will do well in the Ashes. It is obviously the most important series for any ENG Batsman. But IND would be his biggest test imo

There is no india tour till 2028 so we have to wait till then but he would do well in ashes
