Oh come on he was walloped when it mattered and only picked up a couple of wickets towards the end because they were slogging.marc71178 said:Is that aimed at Mahmood who bowled a superb spell at the end of today's game then?
Really Pasag?pasag said:Bit disappointing from Lara although the commentators were abit too harsh. Should have had a touch higher score, but England will never make 272 in a million years.
Well Lewis should be playing every game, that much is obvious. I do however think most of the problem lies with the batting, England have been knocked out of the CT because of their batting basically. ODIs are a batsman's game anyway so most of the responsibility does lie with them, unfortunately most of England's batsmen either lack a brain or don't seem to want to take responsibility or both.a massive zebra said:Duncan Fletcher and co are shamelessly insistent upon on selecting anyone tall and quick and 'developing' them into international standard bowlers even when the talent is clearly not there. It is nothing short of a disgrace to see bowlers representing England that do not have the talent to deliver a straight ball. IMO, we will never improve in ODI until we stop ignoring more effective, slower bowlers.
