You’ve also got to understand that back in the 90’s Mr Bean was (still is?) probably the most popular fictional character in Zimbabwe. Every time a new Mr Bean episode aired it was an event. Remember that Mr Bean episode where he’s trying to surreptitiously have a mint in church and keeps trying to pretend otherwise by haphazardly singing along to a church hymn when he clearly doesn’t know the words? That episode premiered on a Saturday night in 1996 in Zimbabwe, and the next day every single man, woman and child in a friend’s congregation all snuck mints into church and blared out “HALLELUJAAAAAAH” during the first hymn. I could easily see how the presence of a fake Mr Bean at an agricultural symposium in Harare could cause a minor international incident.

I didn't mind Mr Bean, but it was pretty mediocre compared with Blackadder (esp the 4th series).
They’re obviously at completely different ends of the comic spectrum, and I love both. I think Mr Bean is cleverer than Blackadder (though not funnier), every episode is a clockwork of gradually cascading slapstick comedy.

I found that early Mr Bean was great, but later series got repetitive and a bit predictable (a bit like The Simpsons).

Recently he was in Man vs Bee for Netflix, was a Mr Bean for all tense and purposes, but obviously couldnt call it Mr Bean

Rain really doing a number on this World Cup. I believe that this shouldn't have surprised anyone as it normally rains in SE Aus this time of year?

Given how rain affected this group and tournament has been it makes little sense forcing a five over slog when the stakes are so high. Best let the teams walk off with two points and wait for the better weather to determine the outcomes.

This is the wrong group btw for posting.
Anyway, the players would have played 5 over (20-20) matches before and trained/strategised for this eventuality. If it is safe to play, then play.
