Despite the rearguard opening partnership of the second innings between Dravid and Luff, James Malthus kept his calm in the face of a huge target and batted through from number three to win the game. At 121 for five, Gofftown were struggling, but Jamaluddin joined Malthus and batted them to victory. Earlier, Thomas had been in prime bowling form, nabbing nine for 102 to bowl out the Foxes for low totals.

A long and fruitless day from Adam Collins, who bowled 48 overs with extremely little reward in Robbham. Amir and Mitchell were sharper, but it was Tariq Khan who shone for de Grooters, with a hundred coupled with five wickets in the first dig.
Robbham chased quick runs in the second innings, and fell to Collins and the rain, eventually declaring just after lunch. Collins came in at a precarious position at 97 for five, but a couple of crucial drops ended de Grooters' challenge despite two late wickets from Amir.

The Seahawks continued their slide in a spectacular clash in the Bacchanalia Fields, where several stars shone in a game where more than two thirds of the runs were made in the final two innings. Syed, Payne and Malone jnr. routed Maddington for 128, before improbably, Borcich recovered with five for 37 after his 36, allowing a three-run lead for the Seahawks. A gritty innings for Satish Kumar made the second-innings work very tough for the Frenzy, and while Syed struck six times no others could help. Four batsmen passed 40 as Maddington were set 297 to win; improbably, they managed. Rob Malone jnr. recovered from a first innings duck with an extraterrestrial 182 not out, stealing the limelight from Borcich at the very end.
Edfield Seahawks 128 (Borcich 36; Malone jnr. 3/32, Syed 3/33, Payne 3/36) & 293 (James 50, Herbert 47, Satish Kumar 46, Borcich 45; Syed 6/92, Stobo 3/45)
