He did exactly what he needed to do. Won Merc that constructors even though they lost the drivers. Drove a perfect second driver role that year, beating out Perez.
There were many opportunities when he qualified up front, and when we were hoping that he would at least act as a buffer between Lewis and Max he would disappear into the midfield at the end of lap 1...

It's so petty haha.

I mean, I wouldn't pick Andretti of the American indie teams to be a serious f1 team since their strategy and pit stops are a meme in Indy, but he had the backing and the setup to be given the opportunity to be a meme f1 team too.

Max has this championship well locked up, Checo is a waste and needs to go, and Lewis having one of the best races of his career.

Let's see how this ends

Penrith have won the past 4 premierships. Verstappen has won the past 4 championships.

Coincidence?

Can't wait for Colton Herta to constantly bottle it after a solid qualy in front of an even larger audience.

It does seem like him or Pato would be most likely to beckme on of their drivers. (dunno if any MacLaren stuff would prevent Pato from doing it)

Either way it could be a little disappointing - Indycar really needs these young fast guys with big personalities - and lets be real, what are the odds the team will be initially successful?

Well looks like MacLaren is at the front and people can get some consolation victories.

Colapinto’s in an older spec car so his performance is forgiven. Tsunoda smashed by Lawson lol. I’m looking forward to a good fight for 8th in the Sprint. Gasly has really stepped up towards the end of the season but has been extremely unlucky. Hulk has been the overall best driver of the rest of the field for the majority of the season. Lawson is fiery hot. Every point matters for these 3 teams right now. Would not count out Albon or Alonso spoiling the party too.
