Only just saw this randomly but unsurprisingly after Monaco Ocon has been confirmed to be let go from Alpine. Great opportunity for Doohan - will be in FP1 at Canada, and presumably other races.

Everyone keeps saying Checo outsells Max by quite a bit merch wise. So that and the money from sponsors guarantees his seat.

Does Anyone know know where to find a ranking of mech sales, read Lewis and Lando are the top 2 over Checo

That was a pretty fun session

Gg Liam tho. Tsunoda an obv retention with the performance and Honda backing. Netflix will keep Ricciardo and the South American market compensates for Sergio.

Good to see Oscar in the hunt. Not the worst drive from Sargeant today either.

Haven’t seen equal times for pole in a long while, big congrats to Russell. Seems Ricciardo is fired up by Villeneuve’s criticism. Great job from Albon making the 10. rip Ferrari and (especially) Perez.

SVG a dominant pole for Xfinity, hoping for some good showing from Brown and Waters for the Cup Quali. McLaughlin disappointing in the wet at IndyCar but impressive stuff from Armstrong to get 3rd.

Well after a dreary Monaco that was certainly one of the most exciting (if not the most) races of the year.

Shoutout to Haas for their gamble, though it ultimately didn’t pay off. Shoutouts to Albon (rip) and Alpine. Shoutout to Ricciardo for being best of the rest - only losing places to his competitors cos of that very eh penalty and Tsunoda/Ocon staying out.

Crazy stat they mentioned, Verstappen has won 50 of the last 75 races. Thats batshit.

Ricciardo moved twice before the lights went out.

Yeah I saw. I was just kinda meh cos he actually went back at the start lol. Still he had a decent race and brought home points, and was genuinely racing Yuki at the end before his spin, despite doing 1 more stop and a 5s penalty.

Think Mercedes need to rethink Saintz, not that they will, but should consider. George isn't near no 1 driver quality.as yet.

Beating Hamilton this year hasn’t been that hard right? Like he seems to be pretty underperforming. But yeah Russell wasn’t necessarily good when needed in Canada when they had a car good for the podium and even possibly a win.

Lewis really needs the carrot at this point of his career/this final year with Merc. Feels like he phones it in half the time.

He probably is. Thinks he's being sabotaged

Lando is really showing out this year.

Mercedes may actually be finally taking steps forward. Only took 3 years

Interesting sprint. Looks like Max vs McLaren again, hopefully they can both qualify up front and perhaps run alternate strategies and really bring the fight to him. Merc and Ferrari can be an interesting battle. Alpine/Haas/Aston to fight over the last two points, with maybe a surprise RB if they get lucky. Williams is eh, and Sauber woeful.

Man Alpine have really come a long way from the start of the year huh.

Well geez. Big difference from Sprint Quali and the Sprint Race. Verstappen - what can you say? Those 4 laps in Q2 and Q3… insane. Aston looks shot and RB looks in with a shot to fight for points with Alpine and Haas.
