Hazlewood is not going to give runs away. MoJo looks like he might get a wicket every ball. Starc has six left. NZ realistically have 20 overs to attack without taking risks probably. Just don't see a big total from them here unless Coriander plays a big knock.

They need another bowling performance like in htat first game. Only this time while defending.
There's swing there so Southee and Boult will knock over these hacks for bugger all. There's also Vettori.

A Ross Taylor 150 is already in the bank and Anderson is getting a 89 (22) innings to bring us to 350.

Guessing a 150 run win, btw.

we can defend 220 on this. looks sticky and stoppy.
After 30 overs. Need to bat 50 overs.
At about the 5th over if I recall correctly.
For me it's irrelevant for a long time yet. It's better these days being 130/3 after 35 overs than 150/5.
I think one positive for NZ is that they are batting first. If this pair hangs around till the 30th and then Anderson/Ronchi does what they can in the last 10 overs, a good score is very possible. Much harder when you have a required rate of 12+ like Dhoni faced.
yeah, fair enough. My thoughts were closer to what OS's are.

I think the worst part about the wickets is how the last 2 got out. If the get out to Starc being on fire then that's too good but they were big batting errors. With maybe the ball sticking a touch for the c&b.
