Whatever it takes!!!
So you don’t think getting a fresh pair of legs out to field the last couple overs in which every run counts isn’t an advantage. Like bringing in an impact sub to field
Again, do you understand the rules of cricket? When an injury happens due to the ball hitting a fielder, its considered an external injury which means the player can go off the field whenever he wants and can bowl whenever he can.

Varun was obviously injured, just completed his quota as the rules dont allow injury subs at this point then went off. Again, if you wanna be salty, be salty at your batsmen who could not even hit an obviously injured bowler around a bit.

We need to hit out but India's bowlers are giving us nothing, Bracewell finally getting a four off an edge to fine leg.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Just a reminder this is the same pitch Pak scored 241 on with India chasing it down with 7 overs to spare 😞
Isn't it also the same pitch where 250 was enough for India to beat NZ?

Also vast contrast to the games in Pakistan where scores above 300 were common - India clearly SPOOKED by the prospect of a hard chase or high total defense

For all the talk of Shami's ICC tournament record, this is the reason I really dont rate him. He just goes missing in crunch games way too often. The WC semi in 2023 seems to be more of an exception than the rule.

Probably Macewell's best innings leaving aside the Hyderabad century. Dragged NZ to respectability and gives them something to defend.

(EDIT: Didn't watch the century vs Ireland, I suppose that avoided an embarrassing defeat so must rank high)
