Teams that went for Raikkonen over Alonso have been punished this week as shown by the fall of Thompson Racing. Quite a few drivers picked up minus points this week (Rosberg, Raikkonen, Coulthard etc.) further harming some teams. Bridgestone didn't make it onto the podium so some teams gained a 10 point advantage.

1 (1) - Matteh F1 - 94.5
2 (5) - Jamee's Speedy Foxes - 87
3 (4) - Pothas F1 - 86
4 (3) - Nik Of Time - 81.5
5 (7) - Brown Stripe Racing - 75.5
6 (6) - Saville Racing - 70
= (9) - Shaka's F1 - 70
8 (2) - Thompson Racing - 64.5
9 (14) - PSV Eindhoven - 63
10 (8) - Hazza's Hounds - 59.5
11 (11) - Vikings - 58
12 (10) - Stereolab - 54.5
13 (13) - Maggot Dogs - 53.5
14 (12) - Beamer's Pacers - 45.5
15 (n/a) - Trivial Pursuits - 41
16 (n/a) - Late Comer - 33

I've included the notepad file showing how these scores are arrived at :)

You need to pick a second B list driver who can't be from the teams McLaren or Ferrari

How come Alonso got 20?

Surely it's 10: 2nd place (8) + fastest lap (2)

EDIT: And how did Michael get 16?

Surely just 3 for 6th place.

Is it not an accumulation of both weeks points?

No, because Michelin were on the podium 3 times this week, and twice last : 50 points, but only have 20 points.

Yeah it is...

Jamee - You've interpreted the rules differently to me.....
In my eyes Michelin got on the podium - so they get the 10 points - 10 points is the maximum that they can get for doing so though regardless of how many Michelin cars finish in the top 3 - I did think about doing it the way you've interpreted it, but it would penalise the other tyre make too much when whitewashes happen like in Malaysia...
All queries are welcome though :)

Hmm Matteh. Is that the same for Engines aswell

Eg Ferrari supply engines for 2 teams. So can they get 40 points for Points position or are they limited at 10 points. Likewise if all 4 engines blow do they lose 20 points or just 5? It'd be unfair to reward/punish engines and tyres per vehicle, as some run more vehicles than others, hence why i reckon there should be a one of reward/loss per engine or tyre.

How i'd summarise it:

For Teams
Per Points Finish 10pts (max 10)
No Finish -3pts (max -3)

For Engine
Per Points Finish 10pts (max 10)
Engine Failure -5pts (max -5)

For Tyres
Podium Finish 10pts (max 10)
Tyre Failure -5pts (max -5)

And by the way, great comp, got me hooked. Even if i aint managed to watch a race yet this year! :)

Ooh lets have a vote on it:

The proposed change is:
For Teams
Per Points Finish 10pts (max 20)
No Finish -3pts (max -6)

The current rule is:
For Teams
Per Points Finish 10pts (max 10)
No Finish -3pts (max -6)

The idea being that as teams have two drivers, should they be more rewarded when both drivers finish in the points? Indicate your vote by posting either New or Current.
Voting will close on Sunday 26th at Noon(GMT)

Sorry, i thought it was max 20 for Teams, so originally put that. Figured out your using max 10 a week, so i stay stick with that. Its worked so far. Though i'd say be consistant. If your only awarding for 1 points position, then only take away for one failure to finish?

Noticing a few mistakes.

Main one is 3 teams (Vikings, Shaka's F1 and Pothas F1) all have Klien as C driver, adn Ferrari as Engine (Red Bull have Ferrari engines).... This has given them a sneaky 18 points they shouldnt have (10 a week for Ferrari, 1pt then -3 for Klien)..... And as Pothas is above me, i'm not impressed :P

A couple of people's points are a bit out n all.
Beamers Pacers (Bowl-A-Beamer) should have 47.5 not 45.5 (Albiers should be +0.5 not -1.5... He lost -3 week one, but gained 7 places week 2, a total of +3.5)

Stereolab (Steds) should have 56.5 not 54.5 (Monteiro should have 4.5 points, for 2 placed gained week 1 (1 pt) and 7 week 2 (3.5pts). You put 2.5 pts

Hazza's Hounds (hazza) are 3 points down, as you've awarded them only 1.5 for Monteiro not 4.5

Saville Racing miscounted, comes to 72, accidently put 70

Late Comer put 33 instead of 34
Trivial Pursuits should only have 31 not 41, as their tyre choice was bridgestone (guessing you gave 10 for tyres)

Hope that helps :)

Not sure what you mean here...Klien is on -2 overall and engine point's finishes are max-ed at 10...Ferrari have 20 points because a Ferrari engine has been in the points twice.

Saville Racing miscounted, comes to 72, accidently put 70
Depends how many points you give Klien

Albers failed to finish in race 1 (-3) and then gained 3 places in week two, (-1.5)
This is what i looked at

Monteiro has finished five places higher in total - 2.5 points

Yup fair play (Hazza is only down 1 point though)

I awarded two week's worth of McLaren points...

I think most the disagreements come from which position people started in the race

To clarify: Klein drives a Red Bull-Ferrari. Therefore teams shouldn't be able to select Klein and Ferrari as ENGINE choice (ok for team choice). Those 3 teams that have, they have gained 20 points from Ferrari, and -2 for Klein, giving them 18 points from this illegal combo.

My Breakdown for Saville Racing
Raikkonen 6 + -3 = 3
Button 5 + 5 = 11
Webber 3 + -3 =0
Klein 1 + -3 = -2
Ferrari 10 + 10 =20
Renault 10 + 10 = 20
Michelin 10 + 10 = 20
Total 72

Hmm, i used This for Bahrain and This for Malaysia. The Malaysia one shows Albers as qualifying in 19th....
Hmm, actually, looking at that. I dont think the one i'm using includes anyone who changes engine and moves down the grid. I'll change to use the way you did, its more accurate, so apologies :)

Again, my grids were wrong (damn F1 site!)

Dont think thats pretty fair, as he'd only been in the comp one week. The other new entrant (late comer) only got 1 weeks worth of team points. (unless you did it by accident, then fair enough :) )

Matteh said:

Agreed. Like i said, the one i was lookign at didnt include any cars that dropped 10 places on the grid for engine changes etc. So thats my mistake :)

Basically - there's been a few errors....and thanks for pointing them out now rather than later on when it'd have got more complicated to rectify :)

The main thing that's been brought up is the Klien + Ferrari engine choice....The four teams with this selection (Jamee999, Pothas, Samuel_Vimes, Shaka) will need to post here a new C category driver(or a new engine) before the next race.
This will not be deducted from the transfers allowed per team.
These teams shall keep the points they have earnt with their current selection - but will not be awarded the points that their changed team has earnt. E.g. changing to Rosberg will not earn a team the 3.5 points he has won so far.
Failure to notify of a change before the next race will result in no points being earnt in the Driver C + Engine categories.

The updated table:
1 (1) - Matteh F1 - 94.5
2 (5) - Jamee's Speedy Foxes - 87
3 (4) - Pothas F1 - 86
4 (3) - Nik Of Time - 81.5
5 (7) - Brown Stripe Racing - 75.5
6 (6) - Saville Racing - 72
7 (9) - Shaka's F1 - 70
8 (2) - Thompson Racing - 64.5
9 (14) - PSV Eindhoven - 63
10 (8) - Hazza's Hounds - 60.5
11 (11) - Vikings - 58
12 (10) - Stereolab - 54.5
13 (13) - Maggot Dogs - 53.5
14 (12) - Beamer's Pacers - 45.5
15 (n/a) - Late Comer - 33
16 (n/a) - Trivial Pursuits - 31
