To me, that looks like Heidfeld clearly has the inside line, and then slightly outbrakes himself but keeps on the track and racing line, Schumacher actually turns in and hits Heidfeld's back left tyre despite the fact he could clearly see him and isn't that what therefore caused the failure on his car?
He did in fact hit Heidfeld AND De la Rosa and has been called "brainless" but most of the F1 world. Entirely justified tbh.

Another great race sees another first timer on the top step of the podium.

1 (2) - Nik Of Time - 534.5
2 (1) - Matteh F1 - 527.5
3 (3) - Jamee's Speedy Foxes - 527
4 (4) - Pothas F1 - 511
5 (5) - Brown Stripe Racing - 482.5
6 (6) - Shaka's F1 - 442.5
7 (10) - PSV Eindhoven - 429
8 (8) Trivial Pursuits - 428
9 (7) - Thompson Racing - 422.5
10 (9) - Saville Racing - 416
11 (12) - Late Comer - 415
12 (11) - Vikings - 398
13 (13) - Maggot Dogs - 356.5
14 (15) - The 4 Musketeers - 343
15 (14) - Hazza's Hounds - 330
16 (16) - Stereolab - 268.5

A few changes, noticeably at the top where Nikhil pulls out a lead due to me not having Massa in my team. The mid-table is close with 5 teams separated by only 14 points.

I should replace Rosberg. That dude is really having hard luck. But my first place wont mean anything to me if Schumi doesn't close out the gap in the next 4 races.

Oh,my bad.just check out the first few posts. But I think he's in B,if I remember correctly
Again now that I think of it,he shouldn't be there in any group at all, unless he's taken JPM's place in this league

De la Rosa straight swaps with Montoya.

Have to say that i'm glad Schumi didn't overrtake Alonso, because Massa fully deserved to win the race and to have team orders deny that would cheapen the win anyway.

I dont think team orders would have become a part of it because I guess then FIA would have taken matters in their hands. Plus if team orders would have been there then I dont think they would have cued Schumi behind Massa that way during the first pit stop, though I wasn't happy about that,I was happy for Massa,he's a bright prospect for Ferrari

They wouldn't have had to say "Move over or you're off the team (punk)", they'd have just said "Michael has passed Fernando" and he'd have known to move over.

Jamee is right. Brundle said the same thing. Schumi was queued because they both had to come in during the safety car period, can't overtake and Massa was in front. Massa will be very lucky if he's still at Ferrari next season.

Yes strong rumours have it that Kimi n Schumi for Ferrari next year.Thereafter Massa takes Schumi's place. I am looking forward to it. And as for the safety car period pit stop if they had wanted to, they would have told Massa to stay on another lap while Schumi makes his pit stop, that would have obviously worked in Schumi's favour

Kimi and Schumi will be driving together at Ferrari in 2007. i think we can be pretty sure of that...

Wonder where Massa will fit in. If i was Renault i'd be wanting him to partner Fisichella instead of the unproven Finn (Kovaleinen, sp?)
