I understand his Indian brand of humour. I even understand the language as I'm of part Indian heritage. And I still don't find him amusing. I don't think referring to a country as Dickland is funny in the least bit.

However you cannot deny that this blog was hugely successful in terms of the general evaluative measurements of success of a blog.

The blog is not hugely successful. While I would agree that it has a loyal group of visitors who have some free time to kill, it caters to a very very small section of Indian cricket fans. I would be surprised if any corporate is that desperate.

No. of hits can't be a criteria for being 'successful'. I would like to see how many unique hits it gets. IMO it is mostly the same group of people that keeps visiting the site in search of new content.
