English Domestic Season 2025

U19 Captain
The Lancs team didn't look like a happy and positive group of people on the field. Also their fake appealing when they knew perfectly well things weren't out was really tiresome.

would that be surprising if, as I imagine, 11 of the team realised fairly soon whilst fielding that they should have batted first.
I also imagine 18 counties are guilty of excessive appealling and have been for years. I remember Mushie playing for Sussex and he and his close fielders were at it constantly, when they won the championship.

Without DRS everything is worth trying - look at that daft Somerset/Worcs decision for Vaughan Jnr.

I think that’s one big benefit of DRS, far less pointless appealing.

Some decent numbers there. Notably however that these figures (which I assume were the highest) were from Friday rather than the weekend.
