English Domestic Season 2023

Good indeed to see outgrounds getting some use for the cup. Surprised that Warwickshire are still holding all of their games at Edgbaston. Have a been to Welbeck a couple of times - a decent set up there though I have not seen it in the best light as the weather was not great on either occasion.

after watching our bowling attack on Friday, not sure Bracey's innings should count as first-class.

wasn't Danny Lamb once considered a promising younster, thought he was a decent pick-up for us, but honestly military medium shite, and he's opening the bowling.

Josh Thomas was the only one that looked half-decent, didn't really see enough of Langridge oddly

Bracey's time for England might come again but I don't think I've seen a top order batter more out of his depth at this level - except perhaps Hameed's return.

Disappointing effort by Pujara yesterday who allowed his average to drop to 109 (together with his 89 average from last season). Kind of sums up this competition really, it's not like he's ever been a 50 over player, he's just too good for the bowlers on display (as are a number of batsmen it seems).

wait he was still playing?
In theory he was still registered with Sussex but increasingly unavailable through injury. Played only one game for them earlier this month and that was it. Clearly done as a player for some time.

Real shame was his decline about a decade ago. Looked a real shadow of himself afterwards a few months in 2015 aside.

Yep, been claiming a salary from Sussex for the last 2 years. Disgraceful signing for someone who clearly had nothing left to offer at this level.

Good luck to him, and clearly got a media career lined up, but he's been taking the piss at Sussex.

He scored heaps of runs in domestic 50 over cricket in India too, just a little slowly. He was basically Trott.
