English Domestic Season 2023

Molehill

Cricketer Of The Year
out for 244 in the end

i did not see anyone bowling over 75mph so there's that
It's like playing in the County Championship without all the best players (at The Hundred) and seemingly on a lot of flat pitches too. Pujara has a ridiculous average in this comp over the last 2 seasons.

Obviously a fantastic innings, but it ought to come with a slight asterisk.

Somerset missing Gregory,Overton, Green and De Merwe. So big chunk of their attack missing.

Still some decent enough bowlers they had. But one day wickets in England tend to be flat as anything.

Leonard and Campher were consistently over 75 according to the stream, Lamb was more than 75 but mixed in with lots of slower balls. Brooks also peaked over 75 later but consistently so over 75 early on in the innings.

Warks just got a bit lucky against Glamorgan

Catch taken on the boundary on the stream replay looks like Warks player foot touches the rope. He then goes over rop chucks ball up in air and claims it safely in the field of play. Catch given.

If umpires could view the stream then it probably would have been given as a six.

Glamorgan need 27 from 4 overs now to win with two wickets left.

Jaydn Denly making his List A debut today, should keep the Joe Denly appreciation society / fan club smiling as it's his nephew.

Shame, come to think of it, that Darren Stevens didn't last a little longer. Kent'd be playing a 17-year-old and a 47-year-old!
