English Domestic Season 2011

Good knock from young Hales for Notts today. Very clean striker of the ball, particularly strong down the ground.

Holding his hand up for our limited overs side.

Adam Voges has an interesting action too. Lesser men would call him a filthy chucker, but not me.

God, just had a real "you know you're old when" moment on Sky.

Ian Ward just compared MotM Luke Fletcher to a young Angus Fraser in the post match interview & the Notts seamer replies "I dunno, I've never seen him bowl, but I'll take it I 'spose."

Has it really been so long since Gus trudged back to his mark with the demeanor of eeeyore after he'd lost his tail? Seems only yesterday.

Bloody hell, Suppiah takes 6 for 5 off 3.4 overs against a rather sorry Glamorgan side, all out for 98.

I grew up on a diet of Angus Fraser and I've only just turned 24..

Interesting T20 kit from Worcestershire, to be honest if I was Moeen Ali and I was visiting Israel or Dean Jones, I'd get changed

@ Langeveldt. I think the shirt is for the Help the Heroes charity. On his sleeve, actually.

Excellent news for Yorks in re-signing Rudolph, they'll be hoping he offers some support for the hugely impressive Jonny Bairstow who has excelled this season.

Finn seems to have put a yard of pace on, 4 balls in a row at 92 mph, he seems a lot smoother into the his delivery stride, as well. Up to 94 mph now for a couple of balls., bowling really well, decent full length he's bowling, as well.

Meaker and Nannes playing for Surrey. Will be interesting to see what they clock in comparison.

He's often bowled a bit quicker in the short form. Noticed that in Australia.
He was around the 90mph mark in Oz, if I remember right but not really much more. I'd have thought the speed gun was being generous but McLaren who usually bowls high 80's is at 84mph.

Davies seems to have run in to a bit a form, in the last couple of games, after he really poor start to the season.

Really good stuff from Finn, especially in the last over, firing in well directed 92mph yorkers, exactly what England have been missing at times. I'd defo play Finn instead of Dernbach, he's a much more threatening bowler.

Really good delivery that from Nannes but it showed how fast Finn was bowling , Nannes hasn't hit 89mph yet.

Remember being moderately impressed by Finn in the ODIs he played here. Surely a better pick that Dernbach...

In his own understated sort of way, James Tredwell is one of the ugliest men I've seen in professional sport.
