Surprise pick: Praveen Kumar/Amit Mishra
Random prediction : Mishra and Kumar to do well if picked.
Dravid to find some form back in his favorite overseas country.
Strauss to be Zaheer's bunny.

Predictions made before the West Indies series too.
Now only if the Dhoni/Management, Selectors listen to me and pick Mishra:p

I've probably made the worst predictions so far. Half the people I predicted to do well are injured or weren't even picked

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Score: 4-0 to England if the weather holds, 2 or 3-0 if it doesn't
Good shout. Hedged my bets a bit I guess, but 4-0 still very much on the cards and if it doesn't happen then the lost sessions due to rain can be blamed so I win anyway

Most runs: Ali Cook
Thought he might sneak this but it looks like he will finish 4th (unless someone plays a mega innings today)

Most wickets: Jimmy *** Machine Anderson
I think Broad is a few ahead, Jimmy second.

Most catches: Strauss
Cbf to look this up at the min but I don't reckon it's right - he's dropped quite a few.

Biggest innings: Trott, 326 at Trent Bridge
Think Trott was about 300 short across both his innings at TB. One of them was a crackhead innings though tbf

Best bowling: Anderson, 8-62 at Trent Bridge
I think the best figures were Broad at TB weren't they?

MOTS (Eng): Anderson
He's probably ranked 4th for said accolade, behind Broad, Pietersen and Bell

MOTS (Ind): Jono
Think Dravid might just pip him

Axed: Zaheer Can't
Meh, the ends justify the means

Surprise pick: Jono, drafted in for the 4th when the rest bottle it
Would have been as useful as RP Singh tbf

Random prediction: Swann or Broad to hit a ton
No ton, but Broad was out there for two of England's most important partnerships of the series. Also denied opportunities to bat due to India's incompetence.

And just for fun, the CW version:

Country with the most infracted poster: India
I guess this was more or less a tie between Furball and Bun, I'll have half a point

Well as usual I am wide of the mark with most things but quite happy that I was on the money with the scoreline. I am sure there are probably some gun tips in this thread but I cbf to find them so if you want a pat on the back then do it yourself

Surprise pick: Praveen Kumar
Random prediction: At least one test to go down to the wire

Tbf Lord's went into the evening session on day five and today could go all the way too.

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Score: 4-0 England
Most runs: Bell
Most wickets:Tremlett
Most catches:Strauss
Biggest innings: 550
Best bowling: 6-34
MOTS (Eng) Tremlett
MOTS (Ind) wont be awarded through embarassment
Axed: KP
Surprise pick: Gary Keedy
Random prediction Hat trick for an England bowler

And just for fun, the CW version:

Country with the most infracted poster: To celebrate the return of the prodigal Dickinson, France
So GIMH and I are the only ones to correctly predict the scoreline and I'm also hugely impressed with my random prediction - as for the rest of my predictions they are typical of the man who failed to get a single question right throughout LMS - but who cares? I got the all important one spot on

The India MOTS tip wasn't far off - not to take away from Dravid but you might as well retitle the award to 'who had the better series Dravid or Praveen?'

Score: 2-1 England
Most runs:
Ian Bell
Most wickets:
Jimmy Anderson
Most catches: Graeme Swann
Biggest innings: Jonathan Trott, 188* at Lord's
Best bowling: Zaheer Khan, 6-80
MOTS (Eng) Ian Bell
MOTS (Ind)
VVS Laxman
Axed:
Ishant Sharma
Surprise pick:
Amit Mishra
Random prediction
: Tim Bresnan to come in when an England bowler gets injured. The Lord's Test will be drawn with VVS Laxman clinging on for India.

And just for fun, the CW version:

Country with the most infracted poster: Scotland.
Mostly poor, though Ding-a-ling did have a great series. Mishap got picked, but it was forced by injury, and the Timbo prediction was rather tame. Only prediction I'm proud of is the last.

Tremlett to miss a test after banging his head on a doorframe
Yeah, pretty accurate. Nobody knows for sure that Tremlett didn't miss because of an aggressive doorframe.

Could have sworn blind I picked KP for most runs, thought he would have a excellent series, went for Trott, he would have had the most if he had played, so that's fair enough.

Every single one of my predictions was horrendously out. Although a 2-0 England victory was halfway there.
