ok Solanki is a flash in a pan but he has scored a century and he must have the talent to do it?marc71178 said:Which kind of fits the bias suggestion quite nicely - Because he plays for Warwickshire you don't rate him - and that's in your words!!!
Yes ok i said it quite wrong but i dont rate Wagg he cannot get into a Warwick side which is stuggling for Fast Bowlers
In his other 19 innings in ODI's, he's scored the grand total of 267 runs - maybe that might be why we don't rate him?

Errrm...you what? I'd rate Hussain as one of the top fielders in the world...I seriously cannot believe you just said he can't field...I'd like to see you take the catch against Sri Lanka to get Sanath Jayasuria...one handed on his weak side...pure reactions!Arjun said:Collingwood may not be Test standard, but the Test batsmen are nothing more than ordinary and some of them, especially Hussain, can't field. This is where he will come useful.
Maybe because he plays for Somerset? Where he is quite a regular!chris.hinton said:Simon Francis- is 25 now and not a regular at Hampshire
Go to Cricinfo and click on the England section on the left navigation bar. Or alternatively go here:Arjun said:Where can I find the scores of this match? And what actually happened?
CricInfo does not have the link on the main page.
Thanks. Actually, I was looking for it on the CricInfo India page, where they might have posted it, since that match was played in India, but couldn't find it. Even Cricket Web's main page did not have a link.Go to Cricinfo and click on the England section on the left navigation bar.
I agree he has been the best playerRik said:I've got to say Sajid Mahmood is looking a fine bowler at the moment, I just hope Lancashire give him more chances. Jones isn't taking any wickets, but in this current age it doesn't seem to matter if you do or don't, it's just fitness. If I was Sajid I'd feel quite gutted if Jones got on the England tour ahead of me even though I'd taken more wickets than he had, but he was going because he just bowls faster...
Still, he's likely to give Harmison a kick up the ****, which is desperately needed, so bring it on!
Kadeer has the Ability he comes from the right family but maybe not England A class yet... his real time will comeNeil Pickup said:Well... Kadeer Ali has failed every time he's batted on this tour. I really am questioning his ability. Smith has done what he was there for, Newman & Pietersen have shown their ability. Prior hasn't and I'm starting to think that Bilal Shafayat is going to crash and burn.
The spinners have been little short of horrible, but the seamers - and Sajjid Mahmood in particular - have impressed.
On to the Duleep Trophy, and let's hope for a bit more discipline in the batting.
1) No such word as will.chris.hinton said:Kadeer has the Ability he comes from the right family but maybe not England A class yet... his real time will come
I cannot see England pick any players in this Tour apart from Jones
England will finish bottom in the Duleep trophy
Erm... aren't they around the same pace? I remember Mahmood bowling near 145 in one match the last county season and in other match he bowled in between 135-140. Jones isn't that quick either. He bowls around the same pace as Mahmood. Have i got Mahmood mixed up with someone else?Rik said:though I'd taken more wickets than he had, but he was going because he just bowls faster...
To be fair to him he is batting lower down the order but he hasn't been making any runs since i started a topic on him long back:ONeil Pickup said:I'm starting to think that Bilal Shafayat is going to crash and burn.
