Luke Young will obviously go (unless we aren't planning on having a reserve right-back), as I suspect Nicky Butt might too depending on his form once he's fit.
I'm a fan of Wayne Bridge, but even when fit I can't see him displacing del Horno.
If you're looking for a long-shot to make it how about Carlton Cole? He'll need to play firstly, but he's a far better header of the ball than Crouch so if Sven's planning on using direct football he's a possibility.

Yeah, I agree. I saw him when he was 19 playing for Ipswich and he was something else, a very talented player - he's pretty much thrown it away now though.BoyBrumby said:Dyer by name...
Nah, he's constantly injured when he's not getting himself into, er, scrapes with the opposite ***. I think he'll be one of those players who never quite fulfills his promise.

yea i kinda feel Young might go and it would be a bit unwise to go without a reserve right-back but i feel Woodgate should go, couldn't sven experiment with that position if Neville gets injured during the tournament. I think 24 man squads are overkill, I presume replacements are allowed during the tournament for injured players?
I'd be therefore tempted to go for a variety of attacking options (once you've got the first 11, a back-up keeper, 2 defenders, 2 midfielders and a forward) who might be suited towards certain teams, players like Crouch, Dyer, Wright-Phillips etc.

Ermmm.....yes, frankly, although Parker over Murphy is a tough call. But Jermaine Jenas is second only to Andy Johnson as the worst England player of the past two years - behind even Crouch.aussie said:
