Bit more relaxing tomorrow so hoping to catch more of this match v Yorks

Gay has to start delivering so hopefully we can go ahead of any score they do get

always felt though that when inserting you need to bowl out the team for well under 300 so as it stands Yorkshire are just about ahead on CARTWiZ 51-49

I’m not so sure, they shouldn’t have got beyond 240.

Going off for bad light is probably better for us, come back tomorrow when hopefully it’s much brighter and bat in improved conditions.
Yeah I felt 250 was what we needed to bowl them out under.

Once again we struggle with the tail. This is where a spinner could have come in useful.

I just don't understand why Parky isn't getting picked. He's bowled well against the students. An experienced specialist like him would have come in very useful here.
That’s a good point. Be interesting to see how Bess gets on

the team is just not quite balanced yet and some are being saved by the likes of Raine and Potts chipping in runs

maybe if Gay does not get a decent score then he needs to sit one out to bring in the spin option

Me too. Classic second hand bookshops seem to be dying. The nearest thing now are charity shops but you have to look hard through the rubbish to find the odd good book.
In my youth I used to spend a lot of time in the Durham Book Centre ironically in Sunderland

I also used to go in second hand shops looking for old annuals and commando story booklets

I built a collection until my mam deciding to get rid and give it all away

Now the Mrs is on to me to get rid of the library I’ve acquired over the last 30 years

Used to love comic annuals. Still got loads I remember years ago getting 4 Roy of the Rovers annuals for 50p each. No chance of seeing that happening now.

I’ve been sitting in a shed enraged with the ref at safcs game today , I’ve only come back in or I would have been up in court for noise violations

beyond belief decisions and looked intent on Bristol winning the game
Seems to happen a lot to Bristol for some reason... Weird piratey freaks.

At least you didn't meekly lose to Swansea though (also to a dodgy pen but we're **** regardless) and sit just outside the bottom 3. Our performances since the international break suggest we are only going one way.

check this one out. My grandkids love Roy of the Rovers and I’ll admit I’ve got a couple of annuals which I dip into from time to time

I've been meaning to get Late Cuts for ages. I ordered it off Ebay once - from World of Books ironically- and they sent me the wrong book. I've got his Original Spin book and that was a good read.

Today was beyond belief if you catch the red card

nakhi well is nearly as slow as me, cut across Hume about 30 yards out near the wing and in no way was that a goalscoring opportunity as the ball was a good five yards away in front of wells

a good four or five of their players surrounded the ref and he delivered

Disgusting but revenge will be sweet when the play offs start

sheff Utd just scored

I don't know why we haven't picked a spinner. We seem to favour all-out pace instead.of adding a bit of variation. It didn't work in the last game and it looks like we are missing it here.
I’m not so sure, I get that variation is good, but if you can’t trust your spinner to pose any wicket taking threat whatsoever you’re better off not picking one just for the sake of it.

You probably got the one they should have sent to me.

We are a bit samey with the attack currently

I can see the reasoning doing this in early season conditions but we are missing that one bowler tgat can get a breakthrough when the likes of Raine and Potts have got through 20 odd overs in a day

coffers is a steady lad but he is but a real threat
