Only at the SCG.I suspect the GayFL via the Trustees of the grounds.
The funny thing is, you can often get onto the ground after a game of AFL for a kick.

Really? They don't let them at the MCG or Docklands? That's a bit ordinary.Only at the SCG.
I don't know if you could properly say really. I think they're both thought of incredibly highly as players and as blokes.so, which was the better speech? sanga's one of a few months ago, or dravid's?
also, it would be fair to say that both men are considered to be cerebral and classy cricketers who are a credit to their current professions and a massive loss to whatever professions they spurned in favour of cricket. of the two, who do you think is thought of more highly on here?
Nope. Can't even walk on the grass at the MCG when you take a tour.Really? They don't let them at the MCG or Docklands? That's a bit ordinary.
There was talk af moving the Redbacks to Glenelg iirc. Would be a bit out of the way but if people were committed they could still catch the tram. Prospect is a central location but then again North Adelaide's admin historically are a bunch of ****s.Matter of time before, like in Melbs and Sydney, Shield and OD games are banished to suburban grounds.
Which would be awesome, tbh.
Typical Victorians. This is why Nev left.Nope. Can't even walk on the grass at the MCG when you take a tour.
Had heard the same. Got a few suitable grounds (Woodville, Sturt, etc.) but Prospect certainly ain't one of them. There was talk af moving the Redbacks to Glenelg iirc. Ah, the good ole days of the MCG (round '95) when everyone would wait for the second siren after the game and see who could be first to hit the centre circle. Good way to find the best 100m runners in Victoria.Nope. Can't even walk on the grass at the MCG when you take a tour.
A few people on CW would do well to remember this.It is, also, a very tough environment to grow up in - criticism can be severe, responses to victory and defeat extreme, there are invasions of privacy and stones have been thrown at our homes after some defeats.
It takes time getting used to, extreme reactions can fill us with anger. But every cricketer realises at some stage of his career, that the Indian cricket fan is best understood by remembering the sentiment of the majority, not the actions of a minority.
Unley oval has a nice grass area, and I could walk from work when in the officeHad heard the same. Got a few suitable grounds (Woodville, Sturt, etc.) but Prospect certainly ain't one of them.
Someone ban this **** from the AFL thread please.I suspect the GayFL via the Trustees of the grounds.
That sentiment applies to every group of supportersJust read the whole thread.
HB, a war memorial and honouring those that died in the war isn't promoting the war. He wasn't praising the war at all. And by mentioning the fact Australians and Indians fought in a war on the same side, he is merely saying that we have a linked history.
On another topic, one of Dravid's many great quotes was this:

In the past 12 months Indian supporters have been the ones generalised on CW the most. That's indusputable. Used to be Australians but that's happening far less lately. That sentiment applies to every group of supporters
Interesting opinion. I don't know if the title matters to me all that much when it comes to speeches of this sort.Pass the sick bag. Not because of dear old Rahul, who's great, but "the Bradman Oration", a title which, rather like "the Allan Border Medal", positively gushes with pompous self-importance. Pointlessly retro and has the simpering smack of a Mark Nicholas brainchild. Vile.
