Super busy now and need more time to check and finalize. Will do the cutting later. What is the deadline for delisting?

Aiming to start the draft next Friday, unless I get busy in which case early the following week. So deadline is end Thursday (at the earliest)

Despite providing nothing this whole quarter, I won't remove Pandya, de Kock and Dussen yet as I expect them to do good in the WC. Instead, as I am pretty sure he has retired, I will remove:
Dawid Malan
Mukesh Kumar

Will have a proper look in coming days about who I will release but worrying just over 65% of my points have come from only 3 players - Crawley, Bhurtel and Hasaranga. Been a bit unlucky with Brook and Kohli both missing the England v India Test series I think but still - a lot of my picks haven't paid off in Q1 - do I keep the faith or change tack - decisions, decisions.

I've noticed a lot of the players roles are open to interpretation on your list ..

For example Mehidy Hasan Miraz is classified as SP (Spinner) and Santner is classified as AR (All Rounder) , but I think both are all rounders..
Mehidy even opened the batting at the odi wc and has more hundreds and 50's at international level than Santner, another example is Sikandar Raza is considered a MOB (Middle Order Bat) on the list but I feel he is more than that...

If for example a player like Raza becomes available, would you allow a contestant to consider him an all rounder even if you have him listed as an MOB ? Of course the contestants claim to change the playing role should be reasonable (You can't argue Bumrah is an OP for instance).

FWIW I think that could cause more issues than it solves. At the moment everyone knows the category of vast majority of cricketers unless they are a youth prodigy - eg I picked Jaiswal as an OP last year when he wasn't in the DB - seeking clarification that was an okay pick at the time. But having clear player categories for players in the DB prevents disputes over interpretations and ensures the goalposts aren't changed - a drafter could argue they may have picked a player earlier in the initial draft if they could have picked them as a spinner rather than all-rounder or vice-versa.

Not a deal breaker either way for me but just my two-cents worth.

This response is pretty spot on. Of course many players could legitimately be viewed as one of 2 or even 3 categories. But after running this for years (and similar comps outside of CW) I have found it is best to keep it equal for all of the players and manageable for the admin by picking a category at the start of the year and sticking with it.

This has been considered in the past but adds a level of complexity that impacts the overall running of the comp.
