Red had a lot to gain from that match too. They could have gotten off last place. Depending on crowd response the situation shall be reviewed.

thre is a big difference between a crazy wicket that both teams got to use, and a stuffed up fixture.

Yet it's a stuffed up fixture that both teams got the same result on.

I'm perfectly fine with re-doing the fixtures, but I don't see the need necessarily. However "Vox Populus, Vox Deus."

Very nice to finish the FC season off with a win (or, get a win in the second last game, depending ). Not exactly sure how I got MoM, but still happy enought to accept it. Great work by Liam, Pete, Tom, Nath, DeSilva and Travis. Good all-round team performance.

Everyone knows full well that Green would be up in arms had we beaten Red and won the title through the stuff-up. Nobody will undeservedly suffer from a re-run, which is why it must be done.

I'm personally happy regardless of how things are done - shame there's no way of "removing" a round... is there? Not sure if you can edit the database that much. If it's just a matter of reversing the amount of games played, won, reverting the stats to those found in the stats thread at the moment and the like... then if Liam doesn't have time to do it, I think I might be able to help. However, as I said, that's all providing you can actually edit the database.

Really looking forward to the final OD and the confirmation of the final stats for the regular FC season. Then I can start working out the teams for the charity matches. I think the bowlers might do a little better than last season. ...a little.

Alright! HA!HA! we beat the top contender for the FC title. That was the best team effort I've seen, specially sice Simon and Cloete are missing.

Marc made two good points.

1. Black shouldn't be upset, because they got a chance to win the whole thing against the weakest team in the league.
2. If I sim a 25th game now, the form would have been affected by the last game, so it can't possibly be completely fair.

I think it should count, games were played and results happened. It's just bad luck, it doesn't change the makeup of the final. I would be gutted if my stats weren't recorded but I think Liam already said they will be.

Well Black had the chance to capitalise on Greens loss - they could've beaten us, a much easier opponent than Greens. However, that's not saying that Neil is right - if Black HAD beaten us and clinched the title over Green, they WOULD be all for a rematch.
