Australia A v Cricket Web Black
SCG

The atmosphere was electric as Neil Pickup won the toss and chose to bowl first. Shouts of GO BLACKS echoed throughout the stadium as it was ironically bathed in a sea of red.

An understrength Black team and a full-strength Australian team which has frustrated the Blacks throughout Season 7. With those thoughts in mind, we watched Vishnu Reddy run in to bowl to Jimmy Maher...

Daily Blast Comment: Testament to what guts and spirit can do. A truly amazing win from a team that has had it's fair share over the season. At 118/9 chasing 192 for victory, the Greens had no place celebrating when all was said and done, but Nathan Hoy and Sanz ensured they did. In classic Browne/Bradshaw fashion, the lower order pulled out a fascinating result.

Fantastic effort Blacks and well done to everybody involved.

Congratulations to Ferd who answered all our calls and scored runs with a very determined knock. Was very happy with my bowling performance too 10 overs, 2/40 is something I'll take. All in all a top performance, and now we have a playoff against the Reds.

Should be very interesting.

Well done once again to all involved.

Despite holding a 3-1 advantage in favour of Reds, this is a very dangerous Reds outfit and we're giving them all the respect they deserve.

Certainly for me, things look very even, and we need to be at the top of our game to beat these guys. But I'm confident that we can.

Liam...was that our last game of the season?

If so, its nice to finish the season off with a win over them pain in the **** pommies :). After an up and down season hopefuly we can keep the majority of our squad together and push forward next season.

WHAT A WIN :):):)

damn that feels good, top class team win there, Biased Indian the standout with 15 overs 5/20 in the first innings. Hoy and Sanz in our 2nd innings were amazing. Great to keep that annoyance Pieterson out of the runs too :)
