That was easy :) Good job from the top of the order there, nice bowling and we cruised home - not a thing I've been able to say too often this season!

Ian seems to have lost form with the lack of resposibility, bit of a shame after he was doing so well.
What lack of responsiblity?

Despite not being wanted, it appears Bugs and I weren't selected for the Reds either.

There seems to be very sinister goings on at the moment.

Reckon this is a case of Liam being in a hurry and forgetting to update the teams - if you'd have cared to test your hypothesis, you'd have noticed that Mr Mxyzptlk wasn't playing for Blues, either.

That's probably cos he can't bat or bowl, though.

Very pleased with that win as the team should be.

Bowling was great, with everyone who bowled, chipped in with a wicket or 2, or 3. The bowlers made the batting easy, by restricting england to 208 all out. Which is a fairly simple task to chase down. Jagaways had a couple of solid partnerships with Smith and then Deeps, which was good to see, but he highlighted the batting, and was well supported . Good to see im up to my usual tricks, 10* off 8, my 'throw the bat at everything' approach is actually paying off in recent games.

Great stuff reds, we just gotta focus on winning the last 2 1D games and put the pressure back onto Aus A, CW Blue and CW Black as to who will play off in the final. We must not blow it at this late stage in the season.

Don't be ridiculous Marc! You and Bugs weren't selected because both you and Ian have made ludicrous claims about my handling/mishandling of the Reds. I played the same team that played the last game and that has been winning. For surely if I brought you two in for someone and the team lost I would be accused of sinister actions once more.

How do you want it Marc? Am I finally allowed to express some authority and improvise with team selection when necessary?

Also, would you please inform me as to who you would have yourself and Bugs replace?

Gibbs N Smith averaging 50.6?
Jagaways averaging 38.66?
Markus averaging 40.64?
Deeps averaging 47.57?
Zaid Ghansar averaging 49.36?
The only wicketkeeper in the squad?
Steds who you specifically instructed me to play?
Dave who has more wickets than any other Reds seamer in OD this season?
Mr Wright who has been bowling quite well of late?
David Kennett who is bowling very also?
A Massive Zebra who has averaged 15podd with the ball all season?

Who was it going to be? I came on MSN to see if you would be there for some assitance from you but unfortunately you weren't on. With everyone performing who was I to drop? You and I both know that had I dropped someone who was performing and the Reds ultimately lost, you would not be happy about it. So why don't you just be thrilled that the Reds won and next time send me a team to work with.

No, the reasons for the team being as it was are above explained. I didn't play for the Blues because I decided to give Adam (the one who I would replace) another OD shot.

When can we expect to get over this fiasco, and run the next set of games. Maybe it will cool a few people down and settle their mines.

Well I've got to go to school (going in late today) in the next 39 minutes, so I don't think I'll have time to run them this morning, but they should be done within the next 10 or so hours, possibly live if anyone is on MSN around 8:30, 9pm GMT.

Superman Blewy continues his good form :)

This one was set up by some great bowling from Rose and Hoy, both conceeding less that 4rpo and taking wickets.

Cloete and Waughney got s off to a great start before blewy came in and annhialated everyone he faced. both falling not to far short of the end leaving myself and Lezama to finish the game off.

good win boys :)
I wasn't aware I'd changed name. ;)

Great win, guys, let's keep it up. :)

Daily Blast Comment: Perhaps the biggest game all season and the Blues emerged victorious over Black for the second consecutive time. Now leading the season series 2-1, the Blues dealt a severe blow to CW Black's 5D title chances with a clinical finish after a close game early on. Sudeep was the star yet again as his amazing purple patch continues. With the ball he was not as sharp as he has been lately, but he managed an outstanding unbeaten half-century to his team's cause. Also quite crucial was the role played by Adam with the ball on the 4th morning, to collapse the Black tail, as they lost 4 wickets for 8 runs.

The 5D title is ours!
It sure is.

Another great team performance. All that talk about Blacks not being at full strength the last time we crushed them can stop now, because the fact is, we're just too good.

Extremely pleased with my performance as well. I believe that's my 3rd or 4th MoTM in as many games, excluding the one we played against the visiting Sri Lankans. Glad to be such a valuable asset to our side. :)
