an XI has been agreed upon, i imagine it will be posted before the game.
Show some initiative and post it yourself. Liam's on the beach, AFAIK, so if it's been agreed upon there's no point in waiting...

Neither of you two have done anything wrong though and the incumbents traditionally do better than the competition.

I'm not going to second guess the selectors so I'll take whatever happens and support the team even if it involves food-testing the curry before the rest of the team eats. :D

Scoring 50 runs in four innings on tour isn't wrong?

CW XI 1st Test XII

PE Young
H Moerk (wk)
BJ Goff (C)
A Cloete
SG Fitzsimmons
CR Butler
LA Camps
TC Halsey
S Bhatia
DP Richards
KS Wright

12th Man: XPA Rose

Young sets up to maximize his form at the top of the order, whilst Moerk partners him there. Fitzsimmons slips into the middle order to provide an experienced and potent 3,4,5, then Butler finds a place at 6. Butler is in at the expense of Robbins and Kearsley, but it was really a toss-up as that spot is certainly the one up for grabs at the moment.

Camps makes a return as an extra seam option in an effort to compensate for the lack of Pickup, whilst Bhatia partners Wright with the new ball. Tom Halsey gets his expected cap and will be needed to stand up and be counted. Dave Richards gets tossed into the deep end with a Test debut due Pickup's injury, adding variety of spin.

Is it just me or is compensating for missing a spinner by picking a seamer, um, iffy?
Camps in largely due to the fact that he scored more runs than the middle order combined. Richards is the straight swap for Pickup, but Camps in to add strength to a bowling lineup that features a debutant as a specialist. Essentially it's the combination of Camps and Richards that compensates for the loss of Pickup.

Is there any chance of seeing a more detailed breakdown of who voted for what - ie minutes of the selection committee?
