Sorry I've been away with work for a couple of days.

An excellent result in my opinion on a dead track especially given some poor form coming into the game for the team.

Happy with my contribution but need to start converting 50s into 100s sometime soon, well done everyone (especially Cloete and Goff) for a solid start to the tour.

On the opening issue, I think if you look at all three of us we don't have good records down the order. Mine I'm fairly sure is appalling but I'll bat wherever the team (and selectors) require. Bring on the 2nd Test. :)

Well that's all up to L.O.D. We've been behing schedule since the start of the tour but I he's been a bit busy so I undersatnd. Just as long as the games get simmed within a reasonable period from the original date.

After bowling them out for 232 we really needed to get ahead and put some pressure on so from that point the first innings batting was the biggest dissapointment. From the point on we were in trouble batting last and barring Sehwag we bowled well in the second innings. Chasing over 300 we were always going to struggle, 110-8 doesn't help, Bhaji and Kumble ran through the middle order. Need to pick ourselves up for the 3rd test - pun intended.

Much improved effort by all the bowlers, we will be stregthen with Neil's return for the final tests. Unfortunate for the batters, but it was a really hard pitch to play on, nobody ever seemed settled.

Keep our chins up fellas - we're getting there.
