- Nath Patrick has the new ball in his hand, and he's ready to start.
- 0.4 Patrick to Stedman: HOW IZ HE?!?!?!?!? GOOOOOOONE! The finger goes up. That was a sharp delivery from Patrick. It nipped back in and that's a HUGE first strike!
Feeney averages 61.25 against the Blues this season, marked by a big 148 as his high.
- 0.5 Patrick to Feeney: BOWLED'M!!!!!! Patrick is beside himself. He's run all the way to midwicket in that celebration. What a start!! On a hat-trick!
- 0.6 Patrick to Dauth: Pitched up and seaming away. Excellent judgement by Dauth. He left it alone.
- 1.1 Camps to Markus: Full and driven! Good shot and it races past Fuller at cover. FOUR!
- 1.4 Camps to Markus: Short! Pulled away! FOUR more! Not a very good over this.
- 2.1 Patrick to Dauth: EDGED! It flies past Goff at second slip and that's away for FOUR.
- 3.1 Camps to Markus: THE BIG ONE!! Yorked comprehensively! Markus can't believe it. Blues on fire!
Robbins is the new man in a familiar position. He's built a career on performing in the clutch, and he's desperately needed to again...
- 3.2 Camps to Robbins: One drive... they get one, two... three. Good shot.
- Patrick continues...
4.1 Patrick to Dauth: Clipped away to long leg for a single.
4.2 Patrick to Robbins: HOWZAT?!? The umpire shakes it off quickly. Close call.
4.3 Patrick to Robbins: Down the legside... and it beats Crampton... FOUR wides!
4.3 Patrick to Robbins: EDGED! CAUGHT!!! But it's a noball!!!
4.3 Patrick to Robbins: Driven uppishly! Past point. They're back for two, and it's a noball too.
4.4 Patrick to Robbins: Left alone calmly outside the offstump.
4.4 Patrick to Robbins: Flicked away! They take two, back for the third. Good running.
4.5 Patrick to Dauth: Piched up and driven straight. They're back for three!
4.6 Patrick to Robbins: Defended off the front foot.
- 5.3 Camps to Dauth: SMACK! Banged past point and away for FOUR!
- 6.4 Patrick to Dauth: DRIVEN away! That'll race to the cover fence for FOUR more!
- 6.6 Patrick to Robbin: PULLED! Lovely shot! FOUR more! The Reds fighting back at a brisk pace!
- Camps takes himself off. The new man into the attack is Sean Fuller.
- 8.5 Patrick to Dauth: GONE!.......all the way for SIX!!! Another noball and Dauth just stood and smashed it back over long-on! Sensational
- COllins replaces Patrick, who's had a very interesting day so far...
- 10.4 Collins to Dauth: Paddled around very fine. That's FOUR! Great innovation there.
- 12.6 Collins to Dauth: Driven to Fuller at short cover. He threatens a throw. And that's a maiden over! What a change!
- 15.2 Fuller to Dauth: Nice on drive. It beats Collins and they'll come back for a second. That's fifty for Rob Dauth. Tremendous innings under tremendous pressure.
Rob Dauth 50 (51 balls), 4 fours, 1 six
- The first sight of spin. Halsey into the attack for the 18th over. He replaces Fuller, who did a good job in a containment role.
- Currie replaces Collins, so it's spin from both ends.
- 22.1 Currie to Robbins: Dancing down the track and driving for FOUR!
- 23.2 Halsey to Robbins: Swept away. They take one. Patrick misfields it on the ropes and they get a second!
Marc Robbins 50 (53 balls), 3 fours, 0 sixes
- 25.1 Halsey to Cloete: TAKEN! Finally the Blues get a wicket! It ends one of the finest innings you will ever see ladies and gentlemen. Rob Dauth raises his bat to a very appreciative crowd. Halsey go that one to turn and bounce and Cloete did a good job at slip. Fine knock.
- 27.6 Halsey to Robbins: Wrong 'un! GOT'M! Wonderful bit of bowling by Tom Halsey. He held that ball back for his first 5.5 overs and then stuns Robbins with a perfect googly here. Blues back on top, but a top innings from Robbins under pressure. The crowd rises in appreciation.
Lots of pressure on Mamesh now. He's been out of form in OD cricket for practically the whole season. Now he has a chance to be a hero.
- 28.5 Currie to Gray: He's into the slog sweep and that'll be FOUR. Good cricket.
- Camps returns to the attack. He was poor early on, but the Blues are back on top and he's in to try to maximize upon that.
- 30.5 Camps to Gray: Short and cut! It's flying down the third man and WHAT A CATCH!!! Amazing athleticism by currie there, as he dove forward to claim that catch and then rolled over twice before popping up to his feet. He's standing there with arms spread and smiling broadly! That's special!
- 32.2 Camps to Bennett: Played away with an angled bat and it runs past first slip for FOUR!
- 33.3 Halsey to Bennett: Full toss and it's HAMMERED back past Halsey for FOUR! Bennett looking good today.
- Patrick is back for Camps. A short spell for Camps but he got the wicket the Blues wanted.
- 34.1 Patrick to Bennett: Driven straight! That's FOUR! Not a good return for Patrick first up.
- 36.2 Patrick to Mamesh: Back foot drive! Lovely placement and FOUR! That's a terrific cricket shot.
- Fuller returns after Halsey's spell.
- 40.1 Camps to Mamesh: Slower ball and OUT! That's as plumb as it gets. A very big wicket at this stage of the innings, especially since the tail is now exposed. Oh wait, apologies, it's Gaurav Nayak...
- 40.3 Camps to Bennett: He's played on! He tried to work that ball to the legside and has dragged it back onto his stumps! Another big wicket! Blues right back on top.
- 41.1 Fuller to Watt: Stand and deliver! Watt just made room for himself there and slapped Fuller over backward point and it raced away for FOUR!
- 41.4 Fuller to Watt: Again! This time he hits it just out of the reach of Camps at midon and it's FOUR more for Watt.
- 44.3 Camps to Watt: Lofted to midon and dropped! Collins floors a sitter, but he does prevent the run.
- 44.5 Camps to Nayak: No mistake this time! Different batsman, same shot, same fielder, TAKEN! What a match!
- 46.4 Camps to Edmunds: EDGED! CAuGHT! Easy as they come. DeSilva just pouched it at third slip and that ends a very entertaining first half to what is shaping up to be an epic final.
