Wright in on the action too, this is a good start, but Reds have a strong batting lineup right down to Robbins, so we'll need to make sure it lasts. C'mon, Colts!

EDIT: And another! Go cap'n! :D

I'm pretty sure Steds would have a cry at saying he can't bat ;) Overly sensitive guy that one.

Three down, looking a good start for the league leading Colts here :P

Personally, I'd bat Bennett above Borcich, but that's just me. ;) But they do bat lower, but the first seven are all matchwinners.

Just an idea for the simmers - instead of editing over the previous commentator comments, you could just put down the ball number (eg over 12.1 or whatever) and then add the comments one after each other? It would mean people who read this later will get to see more, as the commentary really makes the live sims 'live'.

EDIT: Go Dan :D Just when you thought the economy rate couldn't get any lower... five runs off 6 overs. By the end of the season it could be less than 1 per over. Very pleased.

40.0 Tight bowling from Rai here. It's frustrating the batsmen, but they're staying in.
40.4 Feeney defies my words! Lovely cover drive and that's his second boundary in a row. Rai looks dejected.
44.1 That's the end of that. Fifth man out in double digits for Reds, yet they've only managed to scamper 124, as Feeney gives up an easy catch to Towns.
44.2 Another one! Thomas on a hat-trick, Borcich plays an ugly shot and its easily taken by Wright.
48.1 And he's dropped it! Awful keeping by Jasotharan, that could be crucial - Bennett's been rampant
48.3 Second time counts! Bennett didn't learn from his last shot, plays a loose stroke outside off and is punished with the inside edge, well taken by Jasotharan who stood further back this time
50.4 Thomas runs in...Kennett shuffles across, offers his pads...there's a huge appeal! Umpire stands thinking...and he's given it!
50.6 Watt hooks! Dangerous shot from the captain, it's run away to square leg, four runs
52.6 Another huge shot from Watt...oh no! Misses the ball completely with a premeditated slog, Thomas has six and Reds are all out for 154. A classic display of irresponsible batting here at Goffmouth, and the Colts will be celebrating in the pavilion.

C'mon Dan, no need to lose heart just yet, they're just responding to pressure - hopefully they'll make a mistake quite soon.

EDIT: Feeney out... would like to see every batsman out for less than 30 runs and it might end up that way if we hold this together, and I'm confident we can rip it up from there.

EDIT: GO THOMAS! :D One more, mate!

0.6 And that's tea. Bit of a strange decision to force the players out so early, but there you go - Colts in control of this game after an excellent afternoon session yielding seven for 66.
3.6 Big shot from Malthus-Howell...Bennett jumps up and takes an aerial catch! Watt has the first wicket and Reds have started the fightback.
4.5 Another! Dave & Dave on fire here as Gary Nayak nicks behind, good catch by gloveman Mørk but really an appalling shot in that situation
7.4 Pitt drives - and another man is out caught. Really criminal discipline here. 16 for 3 and the Colts are on the way to throwing away a big advantage
7.5 Jasotharan drives through the covers - four immediate runs for the young wicket-keeper. Brave shot.
7.6 Jasotharan drives again - mistimed! Dobson at third slip has it...no! Slipped through his hands and down on the ground. Could be crucial.
9.6 With that single, it's nine off the over. They're certainly not scared here.
12.1 Robbins holds on! Jasotharan is too quick, flashes at it and it's held, another man out for a single digit score.
12.2 Bharat slashes...it's gone to Dauth. Not the way she wanted to end her innings.
12.3 Hancock survives the hat-trick ball.
12.6 He's played well here - spoke to soon! Inside edge through to Mørk who holds a thankful catch, the Colts have really imploded here.
15.1 It's Borcich' first ball of the match - Rai drives, sets off for the single, mix-up here, Stedman throws back but misses the stumps! Rai still in.
16.6 Kennett looks tired here. He's bowled a fiery spell and reaped high rewards. Towns is one run off being the highest scorer in the match so far.
18.5 Rai succumbs in a familiar way. Colts are 56 for 7 here, and Wright steps in attempting to get his side to 100 and contention.
19.5 Towns has lost another batting partner. Mamesh at first slip takes a grateful catch from Wright, and Towns' 29 not out seems not to help the team here.
19.6 McNamara gets off the strike with a single, and will have to face Bennett next over.
21.2 Towns nudges the ball down to third man, gets four and is into the 30s.
22.5 Towns tries to play Bennett to get the single...did that hit bat or pad? They're appealing...and out, says the umpire. Towns lbw b Bennett 34, and it's 69 for 9 as we're nearing the close of play.
24.1 Robbins calls Borcich back...then changes his mind and gives Borcich the go-ahead. Runs in, bowls...yorker! Thomas can't get his bat down and it's all over. 72 all out, and the Reds are, inexplicably, leading by 82 in this match.

C'mon guys, let's capitalise on their mistakes by not making our own.

Disappointed to not get the wicket of Robbins for the second time running - he seems to be a survivor in these matches. Fantastic bowling by Thomas, though.

Aye, c'mon Jaso, let's put this team back on track.

EDIT: Augh! What happened to batting, guys? :( Thoroughly disappointed in this - I expect better.
