why does it have to be a live sim anyway? im sure most people prefer to just come onto the forum and see the result today rather than wait till tomorrow for a live sim...

I agree with Simon on this one. Although a Live Sim is great fun when it tends to push a scheduale way out a normal sim is fine. We arleady miss over a quarter of the dev league season from this your so the more live sims we have to more it will stagger on.

Ohh and im sure a live sim is way more work on your behalf Liam.

Regarding pushing the schedule, even if I were to sim the game now, it would still be about a day and a half ahead of schedule, but yes, live sims are way more work/hassle.

I think Live sims are a good idea....but sometimes it is nicer to just see the results without waiting....
activitiy doesn't seem to be that high atm so it's probably not worth doing a live sim (although give it a few hours and more people might be on etc)

Edwards is back for his third spell. Aside from a 13-run over, he's been pretty sharp today.

Over 45
44.1 Bravo to DeSilva: pitched right up and driven down to longoff and they run hard for 1 run.
44.2 Bravo to Hoy: low full toss and he hit it hard to longon... one bounce... 1 run.
44.3 Bravo to DeSilva: late cut to backward point and they scramble a single.
44.4 Bravo to Hoy: YORKER! He dug it out and the run through for a quick single.
44.5 Bravo to DeSilva: lofted straight! He just couldn't get that one in the blockhole and DeSilva has smashed him back overhead for FOUR!
44.6 Bravo to DeSilva: driven past extra cover and they'll get a single with Gayle out there.

Tough climb to get 283. Confident we can do it though, but we'll need to pick up that scoring rate...

Good stuff by Hoy early on, though.

80 runs off 60 balls? Not that steep.

EDIT: 49 off 36 with 4 wickets remaining now, still very doable..

4 wickets remaining worries me. I hope we show are battling qualities and get this one despite a tough ask.
