And once again, around the tables thanks to Campbell's Chunky Soup.

In further practice games as the night progresses, Fuller and Murphy have continued their unbeaten streaks on tables 1 and 2, Murphy making it 3 of 3 and Fuller 4 of 4 as they beat Bennett and Borcich respectively, though neither by significant margins.

The big mover in the later stages of tonight's competition has been Dave Richards, who has put his hand up as the most likely of the non-seeded competitors with two solid performances in his warmups.

Around the tables thanks to Campbell's Chunky Soup.

Demeza took on Fuller in a practice match which has just finished ahead of the CCRBT. Both players went into the match undefeated and what was touted as a possible final preview, Demeza got out of the blocks well and managed to hold on, winning 51-50.

7 of our 16 first round competitors are so far missing in action for the warmups. In case they happened to miss it, that's Mister Wright, alternative, pasag, The Baconator, roseboy, cricketboy and Voltman. Once a few of them show up and Pitt gets his connection running, we should be able to knock over some of the early matches.

If you intend to play the "official" games, feel free to announce it in here so people can show up to watch and so on. Cameron vs Blackman will undoubtedly be a sellout, but some of the other matchups might warrant attention also. North meets South when Richards and Pitt face off, while the Queensland duo of Wright and Stedman will lock horns, as will utterly unknown quantities Pasag and Nayak.

Demeza was miss-quoted in saying "Stop trying to get a foul win, Sean you ******." as the encounter became quite heated in its final stages.

Demeza retired for the night undefeated in the practice matches, six and none. Fuller suffered his first loss of the night, and quickly left to weep into his pillow as the other future contestants gathered match practice.

a bit of FYI for the organisers of the tournament.... i've gone down south for the long weekend and -probably- unlikely to be able to play/organise any games until monday night.

(70% chance I can't, 30% chance I can)

Cheers
