Bumrah has been rotated a lot. Perhaps missing out on Asian conditions tests isn't good for his record in isolation, but Waqar got burnt out by Pakistan. He might have benefitted from the way Bumrah has been managed. Don't think he had as many tools though.
Yes, Bumrah benefitted from rotation and not playing in Pakistan (I don't think he would had lost a sweat in SL and is ATG in India, but Pakistan is really a bowlers graveyard). And on overall career value, Waqar is better. But I think it kinda gets ignored that Waqar performed against some pretty weak line-ups in his peak.

Yeah I agree. Hence I don't think Waqar had the best ever peak like some say.

Ambrose did not play much matches in Asia in test.In odi his ave was 27 when his overrall ave was 24.So if he played in Ind his ave would not be 21 or 22.Like Ntini he is a dangerous player in SENA countries but not much outside of that
