Ahahhahahaha, what a way to lose, you should have seen the dressing room afterwards, I need to buy a new racket too now and I think I killed my manager but I'm not sure... he hasn't replied my calls in hospital.

Oh **** mate I'm sorry.

I forgot about Delev (though with his current form, it is understandable ;) ). You'll get first option in the next tournament - sorry.

CWLand's Rob Bowenburg caused an impressive upset over sixth seed Václav Zeman of Hungary as the Johannesburg Open got underway in South Africa. "The Lob" looked in red-hot touch as he took a straight sets victory over the world number 56 - prevailing 7-6(2) 6-3. Bowenburg had little trouble against the wily Hungarian throughout the match, and took all of the chances he was presented with in an otherwise even contest. Bowenburg now cases local qualifier Robert Isaacs in the round of 16. It was a disappointing start (and end) for the other two CWLand representatives as eighth seed Roy Daniels and Brett Read were knocked out in their first clashes. Read was comprehensively thumped by qualifier Bogdan Maurer in a dismal straight sets loss, whilst the eighth seeded Daniels put up a slightly better fight against the unseeded Oliver Engel before falling 3-6 6-2 4-6.

In the other big upset of the day, the Bahamas' Morton Blundell prevailed in straight sets over the impressive Australian Open performer Atthaphol Sae-ul of Thailand. The second seed didn't show the form he did in the Open, Blundell advancing to a second round clash with Oliver Thursfield with a 6-3 7-5 win.

Seeds Out: 2-Atthaphol Sae-ul (THA); 6-Václav Zeman (HUN); 8-Roy Daniels (CWL).

In Chile it was a good start for second seed Sven Oxenstierna, as the CWLander took a simple straight sets win over Argentina's Emelio Cobos to begin his campaign with a victory. Cobos was little match for the clay court specialist Oxenstierna who made a stunning rise up the rankings following his Australian Open fourth round appearance. "The Ox" closed out each set with an ace to seal a comprehensive 6-2 6-3 victory. The other CWLander in the main draw was Jamee Hancianu who sprung an upset victory over sixth seed Sanchez Emelio. The Spaniard managed to recover from a disappointing first set to level the match at a set a piece, before Hancianu stormed back to trounce the world number 42 in the decider. Hancianu advanced with a 6-2 5-7 6-0 victory to set up a second round clash with Henrik Henrikkson.

Seeds Out: 6-Sanchez Emelio (ESP); 8-Jean-Alain Depuis (FRA).

It was a cluttered draw in Zagreb as no less than four CWLanders made the trip to Croatia to vie for the PBZ Zagreb Indoors title. Seventh seed Heath Davis was firing on all cylinders as his serve crippled local qualifier Ivan Cesljar - Davis even finding his feet around the court to dominate Cesljar on the Croat's own serve as he cruised to a 6-1 6-1 win. But it was the other two CWLanders who had somewhat more surprising wins, as Jefferson Drake and Billy Spleen succeeded in knocking out the fourth and fifth seeds respectively. Drake was made to come back from a set down against Austria's Heinz Hainisch to book a second round clash with Mark Harmel, whilst Spleen looked extremely impressive in his comprehensive 7-6(5) 6-1 win over Almen Benaglio of Switzerland. The only CWLander to exit in the round of 32 was Mat Mitchell who, despite claiming the second set, never looked in control against eighth seed Becker Haas - Haas setting up a second round clash with Korea's Inmin Lee.

Seeds Out: 4-Heinz Hainisch (AUT); 5-Almen Benaglio (SUI).

Rob "The Lob" Bowenburg has backed up an impressive first round victory over a seeded player with a dominant straight sets win over South African wildcard Robert Isaacs. Bowenburg looked in unstoppable form against the home town hero as he smashed him 6-2 6-2. Bowenburg was untroubled by the 25-year old's serve and certainly looked composed on his own service games, but will find stiffer competition in the quarterfinals against top seed Zhijun Sun.

In the upset of the day, fourth seeded Dane Haiku Morkel bowed out in straight sets to Australian Toby Brookes.

Seeds Out: 4-Haiku Morkel (DEN).

CWLand's Jamee Hancianu was one of two to advance to the quarterfinals as he came from a set down to defeat Swede Henrik Henriksson. Henriksson looked the better player in the first set as he broke service early in the set to claim it 6-3, but the CWLander stormed back to take the second set in an identical scoreline. The clay courter is experienced in hard-fought slogs and got one here - eventually advancing in a tiebreaker 3-6 6-3 7-6(4). Second seed Sven Oxenstierna overcame Finland's Lari Färkkilä in a clinical display to set up a quarterfinal clash with qualifier Antonio Bachunelli. Fresh off a dominant first round display, Oxenstierna found it harder going in the first set against Färkkilä as it took him until the thirteenth game to break service and take it 7-5. He looked much more composed in the second set - advancing 7-5 6-3 to continue his purple patch.

Bachunelli was involved in the upset of the day as he removed seventh seed Eric Henson in three sets - the winner of the Oxenstierna-Bachunelli clash will face the arduous task of facing the winner of the Boros-L'Estrange match in the semifinals.

Seeds Out: 4-Sergio Joaquin (ESP); 7-Eric Henson (USA).

The PBZ Zagreb Indoors quarterfinals will see two CWLand competitors in the same match as only one representative fell in the round of 16. Seventh seed Heath Davis will meet countryman Jefferson Drake in the third quarterfinal as both advanced in hard-fought three set matches. Davis only looked troubled in the second set against Aksu Emrem[/u] before hitting top form in the decider to thrash Emrem 6-0. Davis advanced with his tenth ace to seal a 6-3 4-6 6-0 victory. Drake had it a little tougher as he came back from a set down against Belgian Mark Harmel. Harmel claimed the first set 6-3, but was no match for the fiery CWLander who trounced him in the second and third sets - advancing 3-6 6-3 6-2 to set up a quarterfinal clash with Davis.

Qualifier Billy Speen was unable to make it three-from-three as he gave up a one-set lead to capitulate in the final games of the second and third sets. Spleen looked in ominous form in the first set and, after having defeated fifth seed Almen Benaglio in the first round, raced to a one-set lead as he claimed the set 6-1. But his opponent Miroslav Brdar found his touch in front of a home crowd, and managed to break in the twelfth game of the next two sets to seal heartbreak for Spleen and set up a quarterfinal clash with Branko Arsov who managed the upset of the day against second seed János Varga.

Seeds Out: 2-János Varga (HUN); 3-Nilikar Midid (CRO).

Happy to see Drake performing. It'll be a good clash against him - he's been in pretty good form and we know each others games pretty well.

One thing's for sure - the sledging will be expletive ridden.

Awesome that I've made the quarters. Now up against the top seed and world number 5. Just looking at the results so far I'm quietly confident as he's struggled in two 3 setters so far, while I've not dropped a set.

Rob "The Lob" Bowenburg's Johannesburg campaign came to an emphatic stop in the quarterfinals as top seed Zhijun Sun trounced him within an hour. Bowenburg had managed to take straight sets wins in both of his games so far and looked in better touch than Zhijun who had needed three sets to dispatch both of him opponents. That was until the two stepped on the court and Bowenburg was broken in the very first game of the match by Zhijun who looked in much better touch than he had at other stages in the tournament. Zhijun, however, looked unstoppable on serve and will loom as ominous for his semifinal opponent Carlo Amato. The Chinese top seed sealed the match with a forehand winner - advancing 6-2 6-0.

Seeds Out: None.

CWLand's Sven Oxenstierna has continued his brilliant run in the Movistar Open as he completed a confident straight sets win over qualifier Antonio Bachunelli to book a semifinal clash with qualifier József Boros of Hungary. The metioric rise of "The Ox" has astounded the tennis world and he is yet to drop a set on his much-favoured clay. Oxenstierna bagelled Bachunelli in the opening set in a dominant display, but had a tougher time in the second set as it was forced to a tiebreaker. In a tight period of play, Oxenstierna finally edged clear to seal an impressive 6-0 7-6(6) win. But don't let the fact that his semifinal opponent Boros is a qualifier fool you - Boros was once ranked eleventh in the world and will pose a real problem for the CWLander. Countryman Jamee Hancianu put up a good fight against top seed Daniel Páez Blanco but was unable to claim victory against the man labelled by many as the best player on clay. Following two easy victories in his opening matches, Blanco was made to work very hard against the world number 105 before finally advancing in a two-set scrap 7-6(3) 7-5.

Seeds Out: 3-Pierre L'Estrange (FRA).

The all-CWLand quarterfinal in Croatia produced a surprising result as world number 50 Jefferson Drake knocked out seventh seed Heath Davis in straight sets. The pair put on a fiery show in the first set as the two exchanged expletive-laden insults at the net as Drake managed to break Davis' serve in the eleventh game of the opening set. The break for Drake was very important as Davis began to lose his temper - dropping the opening set following a wild backhand which went well wide. The confidence continued to drop for the seventh seed as he was broken in the opening game of the set. Davis got nowhere near to the aggressive CWLander Drake - Drake advancing to the semifinal against unseeded Croat Miroslav Brdar with a convincing 7-5 6-1 win.

Seeds Out: 7-Heath Davis (CWL); 8-Becker Haas (GER).
