Personally I'd take Piercy's extra level and a half(ish) of primary over the stamina, especially since he's a spinner (and the only one in the side at the moment). But then I'm biased, innit?

Warnakulasuriya (Qual/Resp) is also a spinner, but you're right - Piercy is a better bowler than Turner. On a turning wicket you'd want them both in but if you were on a greentop, Turner could do a job instead. But we're all biased towards our own, aren't we?

And perhaps also slightly lame speculating about who we would hypothetically put in our hypothetical team on a hypothetical wicket...

Maybe. Jeithoon is 2-3 weeks of miraculous. Unless Nibbs went overboard training crap 18yo proficients and cut Towse's nets. He would be a month or so off miraculous as well. Best bet is probably Canning really.

Well then considering Whitehorne is basically a 2nd XI player. With him and Lancaster swaping. Having three spinners might be too many, so Bardle and Canning keep their spots probably as well.
