Good to see us winning the clearances. From the looks of it, just have to use the footy a bit better. With such even possessions, yet a big discrepancy between the inside 50s, maybe a few junk possessions.

Not surprised to be relegated to the pine after my performance. Those 16 touches just aren't enough coming off the half-back line. Need to be more damaging as well. Can't afford to play around with it.

Bad luck with the Essendon loss. Going to struggle if our midfield is struggling vs Essendon. Need to lift.

CW suffer devastating loss
Willy Mammeth

CW Power has gone down to Carlton by one solitary point in their 2nd practice game of the season, Carlton toiled hard all day and were able to withstand a late rally from the CW side. CW's disposal was once again not as good as it should be and it was Carlton who looked a lot more dangerous entering their forward 50, with numerous tall options. Mat Mitchell had a terrific game, kicking 5, playing closer to goal as the other key forwards were pushed up the ground by the relentless Carlton defence. CW's midfield was once again great in winning the contested ball, with Ash Chaulk leading by example. Chris Dwyer and Zac Gelman had solid games in defence. There were some encouraging signs from a young CW side yet to notch up a win, they have 2 more practice games before the home and away season begins.

Good to get a run in that game, unfiortunatly didnt have the affect on the game i was hoping for.

Shocking loss, 1 point is never fun, in real life or in a sim :(

Hoggy: There was no way of changing database to add in a new team? Instead of taking over the smelly power?

Really poor performance from me in both games. Need to present better, I should be taking more than 1 or 2 marks a game.

Some promising signs from our other forwards and the midfield, but we need a more even contribution.

Practice matches mean bugger all. We'll be OK.

I will be struggling to hold a spot in the side though, with my current form.

A solid first 2 games despite losing them, and i'm pleased with my own form so far, although i would've liked to have kicked at least 1 goal in the 1st match.

Looking forward to lining up against Scott
