It's a dead ball isn't it? Actually happened in the World Cup (albeit the non-striker was run out) and the umpires ****ed up.What if scenario:
- Batsman gets hit on the pad and appeal for lbw
- Batsman looks for run and fielder runs him out, meanwhile umpire has given him out lbw
- Gets reviewed by DRS and decision changed to Not Out
What happens? Does his dismissal just get changed to run out? Does the batsman get to stay because the ball was dead when he was run out? Depends on when the umpire gave him out in relation to him being run out?
Seems like it could be controversial
I don't think Ganguly as India's all time Test Captain is particularly controversial.I saw a feature yesterday where Saurav Ganguly selected all time India XIs for test and ODI. He selected himself the captain of both teams. LOL. He had Kapil, Gavaskar, Dhoni etc to pick captains from. What a megalomaniac.
In that case you'd be pissed off as the fielding side wouldn't you? You should have had that guy out run out if the umpire just left it and gave it not out. It's a dead ball isn't it? Actually happened in the World Cup (albeit the non-striker was run out) and the umpires ****ed up.
Lmfao only Ganguly would do something like that. I've never seen a player pick themselves in a hypothetical "best of" team let alone decide to make themselves the captain.I saw a feature yesterday where Saurav Ganguly selected all time India XIs for test and ODI. As far as I know It's a dead ball as soon as the umpire gave him out lbw, so anything that happens after that is null and void. So at the end of all of that the batsmen would be not out..........I think. What if scenario:

Bradman picked himself in his "Dream XI" (which seems fair enough).Lmfao only Ganguly would do something like that. I've never seen a player pick themselves in a hypothetical "best of" team let alone decide to make themselves the captain.
Shouldn't have appealed, then.In that case you'd be pissed off as the fielding side wouldn't you? You should have had that guy out run out if the umpire just left it and gave it not out.

What if the run out occurs before the lbw is given out, then overturned? It's a dead ball isn't it? Actually happened in the World Cup (albeit the non-striker was run out) and the umpires ****ed up.
