Now that they don't use hotspot anymore does that mean all the players previously given out by hotspot shouldn't have been?

Yes, and every player who was given not out when there wasn't a hotspot should have been out

Every time this topic comes up it baffles me. You should be able to go and watch full coverage of any match from the last 40-50 years that had television/streaming coverage at the time, even if ti requires a subscription. The fact that you can't go back and watch highlights of games from just a few years ago, let alone full ball-by-ball coverage, is ridiculous.

I assume the reason they don't want old games available to watch is that they think it will take away viewers from live cricket? Like if you're a Sri Lankan fan and you can just rewatch 1996-2008 games on repeat you might just do that and not watch new cricket. But then why does it matter when you own the rights to both anyway as long as somoeone's watching cricket on your channel/service, whether it's old or new?
