This would take a very long time to design and certainly wouldn't be ready in time for 2004 (or would it?.....)

But that's already possible in 2002...
No it isnt , Ive been playing the game for over 2 years now & I have never dismissed a batsman bowled in a test match , when the ball is straight , in a test they just block it , & those defensive shots never miss.

I heard a rumor a while bakc that the game would include domestic teams , can anyone confirm this.
Its not to much to ask as all soccer games include domestic teams & there are five times as many domestic soccer leagues as there are cricket leagues.

Also the ability to create a player & rosters that allow you to pick any player from a country , or at least say 40 players , the thing I hate about 2002 is you just have 18 players per country & thats it.

Well its been ages since I played the game, but I think its impossible to bowl a batsman in a test match with a paceman bowling a good length ball ... You may have got them with yorkers or variations...

No, it's easy enough to do in test matches on a decent length with fast bowlers although it's easier with spinners. Try downloading a gameplay patch.
C2k4 will have domestic teams from England and Australia.

1) Dodgy, inconsistent umpires.

2) Streakers.

3) Bribery options.

4) Possibility of death threats against visiting side (resulting in the visiting side not playing, and hence been "defeated").

5) Dull, droaning commentary.

6) Humorous cat/bird/dog interruptions.

In other words, try to make the game as close to real-life cricket as possible.

Can you put players from different countries into australian domestic teams.Say Putting Brendon McCullum into the queensland team?

Yep

With the player editor you can do just about anything , you could put yourself in the Queensland team if you really want.

You seem to have all the answeres iamdavid, I have a few questions:

Complete up to date squads for every country & domestic team , squads will differ for Test & ODI cricket
Do you know up until which series or a date?

All major international tournaments from around the world (eg VB series , World Cup , ICC Trophy , Natwest series)
Can you play the World Cup outside of England? (That was a stupid feature in 2002)

Another Question:

When you unlock something, like a Sharjah (sp) tournament can you play it more than just the day you unlock it?

These are just the things I've been told in previews , reviews & by staff members of various other forums.

It will be up to date approximately from the Bangladesh v Australia series I would think although I am not 100%.

It really dosent matter though as with the player editor you an edit all the squads yourself.

I would assume you will be able to play the WC anywhere although again Im not 100% on that.

Keep an eye on the Cricket Games section in the coming weeks for more information on the game as it becomes available.
