I repeat :-

Who is considered one of the greatest all rounders in the game of his time but never played in a test match (the reason was not because he was born before tests started).

Its not too difficult if you know your crickrt history but a bit difficult if you rely on a search engine for assistance 8-)

I'm pretty sure it's a South African who played during the "exclusion" years.

PS>couldn't be bothered to search for it

I think you are refering to Mike Proctor. No this isnt him or anyone else during that period.

Bundling out the opposition for under 50. Sri Lanka have done it thrice, Australia, Windies and England once each .

(This being different from BEING out for under fifty as suggested earlier) :p

You should atleast wait for the PErson who asked the question to confirm the answer YOUR ANSWER IS WRONG :@ :@

i repeat my question

This feat has only be achived 6 times in the history of ODI

Another CLUE
its a combinatiuon of three things .if u remove the less difficult one the other two has happened together a total 0f 56 times

for the great allrounder ques, i think it probably someone who never got to play because he died in WW-I (or WW-II). He played first-class before the war. I remember reading something of this sort, but can't be sure, and can't be bothered searching for it either.

So are you confirming this answer was correct. It is correct to the extent that it fulfills the criteria but was this the 'expected' answer ?

Dont bother looking because you are wrong and since KOCH_CHA is still awaiting the answer to his question and since I am leaving for France in five hours, let me tell you the answer to my poser.

It is Bart King of USA who toured England at the turn of the century, 2 or 3 times I think, had great first class performances against the best of England and is very highly rated by all the cricketers and cricket writers of that era.

since it has been a long time that i had posted the question and there was a lot of confusion in between i will give the answer for my question a nd Will ask a new Fresh question

the answer to the previous question is == a team scoring 2 hundreds and a fifty in the same inngs of ODI

My new question is
What batting record does Ajit Agarkar hold in test cricket ?
(it has got nothing to do with DUCKS)
