You got it right mate I suck,

Every body is better then me here,I am a loser because I play cricket in usa
I suck because usa is not a test playing cricket nation.

one of the stupidest comment ever by Blaze.
No, you suck because a) the USA are far weaker than most other associate members, b) most associate members are weaker than English minor counties and by definition global second string and club sides and c) you're nowhere near the International level.

cp, if you wish to be liked at least a little bit or have people respect your opinion get some darn modesty! ..

Self-confidence is a great virtue, but this is taking it too far

Haha this thread is the worst for a long time, suddenly everyone is a star waiting to happen.

Anyone who thinks we'd make more than 5 against Bangladesh is sorely mistaken.

Frankly speaking a Cricket Web XI, would struggle to get more than 50 against Bangladesh or any first-class side anywhere in the world.

What you are saying is,

USA is a weak cricket team,Who ever is living in usa and playing cricket in usa is also a weak player because USA doesnt have a good international cricket team?

I said it before and I am saying it now,I understand that usa has a weak team, but it doesnt make the players who play cricket in usa a weak cricket player,

People who play cricket in usa are from india, pakistan, sri lanka, bangladesh and some of them has competed in first class cricket and more.

What you are saying is the people who live in united states and play cricket their are weaker at cricket then those who play cricket in new zealand, australia, england,?

To me that is stupid.

Of course that's the case!

England National > USA National... hence
England Club > USA Club... hence
England Player > USA Player

Same as football. Playing top flight football in Macedonia or Albania or Slovenia makes you much worse than playing top flight football in Italy or Germany or Spain - unless you are massively, massively superior to the rest of your league.

No matter how good you are,If you play in usa you are counted as a weaker player lets say compared to an english who plays cricket in england?Even though you were counted as a good player when you played cricket in India, pakistan,Sri lanka?

Let me give you an example

Ed joyce Who will soon play for England,He is not english and he is doing so well playing county cricket in england, but he grew up in Scotland I assume.

Same goes with Amjad khan,

No. The standard of American cricket is so much weaker than the test playing nations (plus most of the associate nations, too) that someone in England with identical stats to you would have to perform far better. It's nothing to do with how good the player is - it's how good the bowlers you're scoring the runs off/batsmen you're getting out are.

50 might be pushing it to be honest

I disagree.

It can always happen but it is not a foregone conclusion as you are suggesting.

Bangladesh wwere good enough to beat Australia in a ODI.
They would dispose of any potential CW X1 with relative ease.

I wouldn't mind having a crack at bowling at the likes of Pickup, Richard and tooextrafool though. I played second grade for Sydney University so I reckon I'd knock 'em over pretty quickly. :D

If CricketWeb were a first-class team, we'd have to be Warwickshire, so I could be the Ian Westwood - specialist number 10! :D

I don't play my cricket at anything remotely resembling a high level - I'm 18 and have played 3 games (opening the batting, with scores of 27, 10 and 5) for my school 2nd XI, that's as far as I'll ever get. Joining up with my club this summer for the first time, hopefully, now that I've left school. No idea how good they are, or what team I'll make, but low-level cricket is better than no cricket.

I'd think we'd need a pair of gritty openers...so count me in :)

Im still a couple of notches below the prems, but still finding my feet at senior level after playing trashy school cricket.

It sounds like there are some bowling options out there, with K_P and some others i believe.

Who knows what could happen..

But in all seriousness, we would be on a hiding to nothing.. but then again, this is not a serious thread :p
