Rik you must surley see my point though sure Test cricket is the ultimate but you cant totaly discount ODI's.
Errrmm...I never have, I just said that in ODIs it's easier to get wickets at the end of the innings whilst the reason Lee struggles in Tests is because people don't have to play at every delivery.

Back on topic, I wouldn't have minded seeing some minor counties in the next round, oh well, good fight by Lincolnshire, I just wish they had finished Notts off.

Good call, methinks :)

And Lincolnshire should have won. Paul Franks, Usman Afzaal and Gareth Clough hit 83 off 7.1 overs from 41.0-48.1

So near, yet so far. I think we deserve to be the 19th First-Class side ;)
I Agree as my Brother plays for them now

Just like you slag off England players and you fail to show them any respect? Double standards here.

Didn't say he had faded in the ODI game, find proof that I did.

What World ODI XI? He hasn't been picked for one to my knowledge, anyway he'd allways get beaten by Pollock and McGrath purely on the basis that they are better bowlers.

Have you actually noticed that I was talking about Tests and never once mentioned that I thought he was a bad ODI bowler? So your blast is puzzling to say the least.

Rik You never ONCE said you were talking specificly about test cricket you said.

"He played a few matches for Leicestershire after the tour of England and didn't do much. Quite like Brett Lee he's dropped off very badly after coming into International cricket with a bang."

Ohh yeah you really said you were only talking about test cricket dident you.
Maybe you were but did you ever think of telling anybody I cant mind read you know.

What the hell am I supposed to think you said International Cricket now forgive me if I am wrong but that DOES include ODI's.

Why should I assume you mean Test cricket if you dont say so.
I based my judgments on what you said and you said "International Cricket" At no stage did you give me any reason to think you were talking about test cricket only.

What you said bares truth but not the whole truth thats all I was desputing.

Ok, here we go then, I STATE THAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT TEST CRICKET, it was a bit obvious anyway, just look at his stats, why would I say he had fallen away in ODIs when his average has actually been improving?

I would agree with you on Yuvraj, but Kaif is still a bit too inconsistent to be a fixture in the team. Hmmm...I always liked that Badani...
No way, in comparisons to fielding , kaif wins , in terms of running between wickets kaif wins , and badani was given his chances and didnt have any match winning performances and or showed the stability of kaif

Give me a break! What stability? Kaif has had three very good innings and a bunch of failures. If I remember rightly, Badani had an average of 38-40 with a very classy century against Australia in 2001. I'm not saying that Kaif is a bad player and isn't worth anything in International cricket. I'm not saying that at all. What I'm saying is that perhaps his consistency with the bat would improve if his automatic selection was taken away. Let him fight for his place and show that he warrants it. WI did it for Dillon and he bowled alot better in the 4th Test, helping the WI to win it by restricting Australia.

Regarding match-winning innings, Kaif has played 53 ODI matches (44 innings) of which I can remember 3 match-winning knocks. Correct me if I'm wrong. One such innings every 15 appearances at the crease, with little consistency between, is not enough to warrant anyone a free pass to the first XI.
