Yeah I was curious as to the player who scored the most centuries, all of them coming in wins.
Oh then this metric is not very helpful. Go through the innings to figure out the actual winning knocks. Pretty sure only 4 or 5 of Hayden's centuries were match defining.

No i mean after this I’m just curious as to who has 100% of their tons in wins. I just made the list to poke fun at Johan’s dumb post.

And yeah the answer is Rohit

Don't really agree with this part tbh, particularly the bolded. Playing as a teen is so difficult and rare that it's essentially a bonus in my eyes if you manage to have any degree of success and holding any failures against a player at that age in comparison with a player who didnt have to do it makes perfect sense to me.
Well said. I don't get why others are putting the same expectations of a prime bat on a teen bat.

Whatever it takes!!!
Sachin's 100 against Donald was very good. Personally, I think his Perth 100 is far better and probably his best 100 in his career. But discounting that 100 in 92 in RSA for any reason is just silly.

Lara is still better than Sachin, Waugh and especially Ponting though.

Obviously agree that there's not much between Sachin and Lara's records vs Donald tbh, both kinda middling. Probably prefer the tons Tendulkar got to the few fifties Lara managed though. Not just because they were tons but because the innings were of higher quality than Lara's (he got a 97 in a very low scoring game at Mumbai in the 2000 series that was superb too). Subjective though.
Tendulkar's 169 against Donald and Pollock is an underrated great innings. Came in for a partnership at 5 down for little and played with complete control and balance.

Sachin considers his Perth knock as his best. Nobody should discount it.

For me, his best knock in RSA will be Bloemfontein 2001. I think he achieved against a greater attack in 2010 but that 100 was just peak batsmanship as far as Sachin's batting was concerned, for me. He shepherded Sehwag along beautifully as well on his debut.

Yeah that was a top knock.
