People have been saying this about Turki but IMO it's just people misreading the Arab hospitality/way of talking.

He will always talk up Fury because he knows that Fury likes to be flattered. But he's no fanboy IMO.
Phew.

With some of the UK commentary this was looking dicey but fortunately the guys at ringside could see what was going on, as could Turki himself.

Even without the knock down I feel that was far more convincing than the first fight. Probably only give Fury 2 rounds, maybe 3 if you're feeling generous.

Anyway if Fury and AJ want to do that fight it's still something people would watch and would be fun.

Frankly, Usyk has nothing left to prove.

If he did fight Dubois again and beat him, he would be 3 x undisputed - once at cruiserweight, twice at heavyweight) without a loss on the record which would make him arguably the greatest professional of all time.

One of the rare fights where all 3 judges had it just about right

Can argue about a round or 2 but Usyk clearly won

What’s up with the British media?

Didn’t think that Fury was all that popular and yet some are carrying on like it’s a robbery

He probably will fight Dubois but he really doesn’t need to

Pretty obvious why.

Frank and Eddie want to make the big UK fights.

All 3 of their top fighters have now lost to Usyk. Make that 5 if you include Chisora and Bellew.

I'm not complaining that Usyk won. Glad he did but I don't think it was as convincing as the scorecards suggest.

When the Woodhall and Frampton cards had Fury 2 and 3 rounds ahead after 10 I disagreed as I had it level. Usyk definitely didn't lose round 11 or 12 so he won in my eyes.

Good fight and Usyk a worthy champion.

Hope he knocks Dubois out, disrespectful prick.

Yeah. Must hurt knowing about 6 of the top 10 fighters in the world are Brits but they lose all mega fights as Usyk is just different gravy.

BTW, whoever is managing David Nyika's career deserves an uppercut. Spends the 4 years since the Tokyo Olympics matching him up against a couple of no-hopers per year, and then chucks him in with the World Champion at 3 weeks' notice.

He's not even getting Saudi money for this probable decapitation ?

So what's next for all?

Usyk probably should retire , but he is making FU money and he's still really good, maybe the winner of Dubois/Parker?

Fury may as well fight AJ in Wembley , yeah its lost some appeal but it would still do massive numbers.

Very interested in how Itauma progresses now, he's got not hit yet but he clearly has some serious power.

It's so weird how they continue to claim Itauma is 6'6 after looking at least 2 inches shorter than McKean.
There's nothing wrong with being 6'4 guys. Just ask @thierry henry

Yes Usyk is still good but when you've already made FU money and have literally clocked boxing...why would you risk your health like that? He has a beautiful family. Surely he must have some other interests than getting punched in the head. He will also definitely lose at some point. No one is invincible.

Agreed

He should retire now as a legend but will probably fight on & get beaten by someone who couldn’t hold his jockstrap in his prime

Guy is nearly 38 & can’t go on forever but boxers generally try

Best thing now is if Uysk retires undefeated and Fury and Joshua fight for the vacant belts...we can always dream 😉
Neither of them would have earned a slot to fight for the vacant belts.

Would sooner see that opportunity to guys who have earned it like Bakole, Kabayel, Zhang, Parker etc.

Fury may as well retire as should AJ so it means they'll probably have a bumper fight in London in May/June. In fairness it would be the biggest all British heavyweight fight since Lewis/Bruno 30 years ago so both fighters will want it as despite them both being busted flushes it'll be massively hyped and watched.

Usyk has nothing left to prove, I hope he gets out sooner rather than later as the great he is unscathed and healthy. He is a true champion.
