Rubbish. Shoaib Akhtar is one of the most dangerous bowlers
in teh world today. He may not have had the best of matches in the Multan test but that happens to every player.

He would definitely be one of the first bowlers I'd consider in a possible world X1.

Alright, but what if he continue to flop in the 2nd and 3rd test against India (which he will)?? What good is a bowler who takes wickets against teams like Bang and a depleted NZ side but get hammered by the Awesome Indian team.

What are you on about he took wickets against South africa and NZ.NZ nearly beat India in India in a test match so i dont know what your talking about NZ being depleted.They also beat SA.Shoiab can wreck any team when he is at his best like against new zealand when the last 7 wickets fell for 8 runs in a test match.He also wrecked Austalia in Austalia when Pakistan beat them 2-1 in 2002.Maybe your saying that as you know it might happen to India

he was hit for runs only in the 1st match....only in the 1st match
and what on earth is inzamam on the list for
he has got more runs at a higher avg than tendulkar for gods sake.
that guy ajajaaagarkarajaaa has just once again shown what a disgrace he is.

and may be a disappointment from tha pakistani side is shabbir .......and afridi although he was brilliant in the 2nd odi.

I feel this thread should have been introduced after the series is over, there are still 2 more games and many people might have to eat their own words.

As far as the game is concerned. The Test is a different Ball Game, Tendulakr is continuing the Sydney Style batting, Sehwag surprised as with a triple. Shoaib and Co. might perform well in the remaining 2 tests. So we should just wait and watch

Did you read Inzi's comment on Pak pacers? He said that the impression that Pak attack was world class was totally misleading.Imran was WC, Akram was WC but Akhter and co are simply aren't class bowlers.

Need I remind you both that Khan (4.84), Kartik (5.11), Balaji (5.42) and Pathan (5.34) all have worse ODI economy rates than Akhtar (4.56) and Shabbir (4.57)? And that Sami's econ. rate (4.93) is better than all of them except for Khan's?

Pathan and Balaji only bowl at 80 mph and when they are 30 they will bowl 70mph.Even Shahid Afridi bowls his spinners faster than them.Even Shoaibs slower ball is faster then them.Even if waqar came back he would bowl at balajis pace
